Yeap, mine was one of them. You may or may not have seen mine, mine was the WRB Hatch with Black wheels. Hopefully you make it out to woodward one day and we can meet up. I'll be at Angels this Tuesday actually for an E85 tune by Tony.

Why junk injectors Junior? The ones I got worked awesome for me, they idle perfect and they were easy to tune. I had them for a while without any issues. I had to go bigger because I was out of injector and I wanted to stay at base pressure. Lol wasn't you or some else that had to try three different sets of DW1300s before they got a good set....

I do remember seeing your car in there. Angel builds a good engine! Did Tony do your pump gas tune? He's a good tuner, he makes good running, strong, reliable tunes. He has done a few stage 2+ tunes for me over the years! Glad to hear he is doing E85 tunes now. He was resisting tuning to this fuel! Good tuning to you guys!

Any plans on running it at the 1/4 mile? Sorry if I missed it. Enjoy!
Thanks man! The Dom3.5 is a good turbo, good pairing of wheels! It's one of the components to my build. The Killer b header is one of the other critical components that make a huge difference in spool and power! My heads and the work on them, cams, the long rod 2.5 block with the high CR, etc....The block holds all the power, it's a total package that makes it all work. Good luck with your build!

I'm preparing to run some 1320's with it!

I'm not screwing around with any other injector brand on my XTI. It's ID for me from here out!

Yeah good on ya! so did you work that through Ron?

I've had a total of 5 sets of injectors on my XTI since I've owned it including the stock ones. 2 that I've had to send back to the manufacturer for warranty issues and now the ID1k's for a total cost of $330. It's the swapping out and re-tuning that's the PITA! So that's the reason that I am loyal to ID from here out, they just work, idle, run smooth and make big power!

Yeah! I had 4 sets of injectos, the stockers, modded light blue injectors flowing 860cc, the FiveO 1200cc and the the 2200cc. I never had any issues, I guess I been lucky.

Ive had a few sets also, the ID2200's DID NOT like my stock ECU I wasnt happy to have to get rid of them..

Im on Five O denso 1400's right now, Im going to try the Bosch EV14 1400's that Five O has just come out with.

1000's wont work for me and 2200's were too much. I wish ID had a solution.

Yes, Tony did my Stage 2+ tune. And I agree, it has been a pleasure working with Angel. It's nice to have such a good shop close ish to home.

Tony still doesn't like E85, but he's doing it now. lol We'll have some fun tonight tuning my car and hanging out. Are you on FB?

Tony isn't about being overly aggressive with timing and he has been resistant to tuning E85 but he is a smart guy and very methodical. He will see the way!

Nope, no wastebook for me! I was but found it was too much of a time suck! haha

dont get it... I had it. it never zeros out the mph which ****s you when tuning and trying to get avcs to work again. I bought all the speedo **** thinking there was a hole under that plug and there isnt. theres no holes at all and the diff doesnt have provisions to put the speedo ring it. so i swapped in a front cover off of a 04 and used that diff and cover on my spec b trans

Yeah, I know a few guys that did the bell housing swap to run the speed sensor on the 08+ 6 speeds but I doubt that Juan's going to pull it all back out to do that bell housing swap.

I use the DCCD pro controller and it works great!

Thats what I like about Tony...lol. He tunes for reliability, and in the end the STi is my daily driver, so losing a little bit of speed to keep my car safe is what I want. But I have been hearing a WHOLE lot about Junior.

No wastebook, then I guess i'll just try to meet up with you randomly one day or PM you.

Tony's a great guy and a good solid tuner. He just resisted the E85 but both Angel and I have been working on him. He'll do a solid and safe tune for you. He's not a timing crazy tuner at all.

Junior.....well he's da man! His tunes are solid, make a lot of power and are safe and dependable! He doesn't want to blow up your chit, not at all! He does know how to make a car go fast!!

Sure PM me and we can exchange info, we'll meet up with the cars this summer!

So you or your tuner could not get the ID2000's to run on the stock 05 STI ECU? I know it's not easy, I do know that Tim Bailey has gotten them to idle and run well on pump gas on the stock ECU. I don't think I ever talked with Junior about the ID2k's and stock ECU/ pump gas but if anyone has done it I'm sure he has.

Hey Junior, can you pipe in about this?

I do think the new ID1300's will be perfect for me and my build!

I had 3-4 tuners attempt, Jr even sent me a map to try with no luck.
the car just wouldnt idle, once you got out of idle it was fine, but at idle it would pop and backfire.

after not being able to get it to run for an entire summer I gave up on the 2K's

Want try again?

Just want to add to this, I sent you a test map, but at the time I requested to the guys that you to come in and get a real tune. I really did not want to get involved with the making adjustments to the old tuners file.

That's awesome to hear!! The SD stuff hadn't yet come out when I was trying to tune it. I got sick of not having a car to drive, had to make a move.
I'm glad they are working out for you!

What do you think Jr, the 1300's should work well for me and we could probably dial back the base to 50? I should then have enough fuel to max out the turbo and get close(r) to 600! Lol
