Blitz SBC I-D or other Boost Controllers??
I am currently contemplating what to spend my money on with regards to a boost controller. A friend of mine has me quite interested in the Blitz unit, but then i am also interested in the Turbo XS plug in unit, combined with their manual boost controller. I like the idea of being able to tune my boost pressures digitally with the Blitz unit, but i wonder if i would gain a greater amount of power out of the car, and power in engine management with the Turbo XS unit. Anyone have any experiences with either, or recommendations towards which direction to take. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You can do what I'm thinking about doing. Get the Blitz SBC-ID and the Unichip. The unichip comes with a ABC that you have to adjust by turning a screw under the hood to adjust boost. The Blitz allows you to do the same thing from inside the car. The Blitz only controls boost whereas the Unichip does Air/Fuel. The blitz also gives you other feature such as scramble mode, etc.

The SBC-id has worked great for me so far. It works well in conjunction with the Blitz Power Meter-id, if you're willing to spend a little extra. It's very easy to use, and small in size so you can mount it almost anywhere.

I love the SBC-id and have never used any boost controller that is any better. I use it for boost control and the Unichip for fuel/timing mapping. I'm making 390 HP at the crank or so on 93 octane. Perfect boost control and no spiking.

I'm running it too, I love it, easy to use and set up, some neat safety features built into it too, well worth the money.

I have heard of very good results with the Greddy Profec B unit on our WRX's...steady boost, no spikes and both touch-of-the-button low and high boost settings all for under $350.00
