They basically said it was crap compared to the P1 because the base model was not as exciting as the P1 and the only thing that got carried over was the cheap interior plastic.

he's just stupid... He confuses the normal impreza with the STI...
Comparing the new naturally aspirated 2 litres with the turbocharged 22B limited edition and saying the new one lacks performance. It's like saying look the sea is blue! Amazing! LOL

Tiff isn't stupid.. he's just playing a part on TV. I think the tune will change completely once he gets his hands on an STi again.

Tiff is far from stupid. You have to stop watching Top Gear thinking that they are the bread and butter of all things automotive. Jerry Clarkson could not out drive Tiff if his life depended on it.

Just wait. We dont even get that model in the states. We get a 2.5 liter with 175 HPish.

Let him test the new STI, and we will see how much he smiles.

Which is kinda the point for a 1.5L AWD 3100lb compact 5 door.

said here earlier, but a little shocking to me- there will be no WRX in the UK. Supposedly to reduce Subaru's overall emissions profile for the country. That would be why he's reviewing the Impreza and not at least the WRX. Ugly WRX is one thing, no WRX would suck.

Much better review from MotorTrend.
They dont focus on the looks alone.
