You might not have awesome peak #'s but the power under the curve and powerband are great looking... But please revise the format of your thread to meet the criteria

Absolutely need to ditch. Just doing it in order. Going to do fuel pump and injectors next. The Turbo XS FMIC. Should be pretty solid there. Not sure what numbers ill put down. Tuner Bobby at PRE said my car would've broke 300whp easy on last tune but Top fan went out that morning so wasn't even blowing on top mount so they where being safe.

16psi is conservative. The stock TMIC will handle 18psi just fine. Also, you don't need injectors to go to a FMIC if you are keeping the vf52 turbo.

Ill be doing a turbo swap. I'm building up everything else to get it ready. Injectors are running almost at max right now I don't want it running at max. I agree I don't have to on current turbo but injectors aren't a bad price 600.00 to 900. Depending on which ones.

please dont make me turn my head sideways. anyway, what the others say makes sense, more fuel and cooler air will increase your ceiling for power.

for injectors get ID1000s for <$500. They will handle 500whp on E85 with the right mods.

Id get a new intercooler first tho...the stock one on your car is really a POS

I know it's A definite POS TMIC. That's my next thing I'm getting that's big. Looking for a 2009 legacy Gt spec B transmission for Tranny swap. Also

Just start small man do all the basic bolt on's like injectors, pump, inlet, IC, etc and youll be suprised at what the car puts down without E85 and a new turbo... The 5spd will handle the torque you just have to take care of it and not bang gears like a retard on crack...

You really do not need a fmic, on a vf52 all your gonna do is give the car more lag. The stock tmic will.handle around 20.5 psi. I'm taking it you want the fmic for looks? With wrapping your DP correctly and a turbo blanket plus a heat shield with heat reflective tape on the under side of the shield, you'll be good to go if your concerned about heat soke. I'm making 450+ HP with a Blouch Dom 1.5xtr on a Process West top mount with everything wrapped up, heat and flow is not a problem. 16psi is nothing on that top mount, turn it up to 20 or so and be done for a while. Unless you have "BIG" plans for the car by all means go with your fmic.

The lag is very small, the knock retention with a consistently cooler charge is not a small change. This discussion has been beaten to death. A fmic is better if every aspect other than a very minute lag, crash=engine damage, and non sleeper status.

Yes bigger plans not keeping VF52 at all for long doing everything else first to be ready for bigger turbo drop. But you say it can handle 20.5 psi at Max? TMIC that is? Is that with external waste gate or re circ? Because boost creep will most likely be the case with fuel cut is why I have low also. Enlighten me please.?

i went to the track for the first time on my life last month. i couldnt get launching down. i ran 2passes- 13.3 @ 104. im sure with some practice 12s are easily doable. injectors, fuel pump and plugs are next in the spring im thinking. very happy with the power though. beats what it was like stock 5 years ago with the td04 turbo!
