7L Autosport is proud to bring you our Fortune Auto coilover group buy. Fortune Auto has shown time and time again that their coilovers are some of the best in the business - their success in the Redline Time Attack series is a testament to how well their coilovers perform. However, it's not just about their success in motorsports. Fortune Auto's coilovers are technically superior to the competition as well. Here's why.

1. Every Fortune Auto shock uses a unique seamless stainless steel body and monotube design. The pistons are forged and precision machined to exact tolerances for the best possible performance. The piston is a massive 50mm in diameter, and the piston body is 57mm.

2. Forged one-piece mounts and forged adjustment collars are unique in the industry and offer superior strength and durability. The body and all mounts are anodized as well.

3. The shocks are 30-way adjustable so you can dial in the stiffness of the ride and make it perfect for your driving style. Pillowball upper mounts give you the ability to adjust camber and caster.

4. Fully independent height adjustability allows you to set the ride height perfectly at each corner, while maintaining spring preload.

5. The pistons and valving allow for digressive response. This means the shocks respond quickly to body roll, dive, and squat and keep the car flat. On rougher roads, however, the shocks will absorb small bumps and undulations in the road. In other words, digressive response gives you maximum performance on the track and drivability for the street.

6. Every coilover is put on a strut dyno and must match Fortune Auto's valving specifications before it is shipped, so each of the four struts included with a kit will respond virtually the same way. Fortune Auto also shows their dyno graphs so you know the response you're getting.

7. Fortune Auto offers a 1 year manufacturer's warranty on all coilovers.

8. All coilovers can be rebuilt and revalved in the USA by Fortune Auto giving you the fastest possible turnaround time for rebuilds in the industry.

Each set of 500 series coilovers can be ordered to Fortune Auto's predetermined specification, a custom 7L Autosport spec, or your own custom spec at no extra charge. You can specify the spring rate front and rear, as well as custom valving to match the spring rate. In addition, you can upgrade your set with Swift coilover springs for $350.

We're also offering their 510 series and Dreadnought coilovers - please PM us if you're interested in details on those.

MSRP for each set of coilovers is $1,599.

Def interested. I will be mostly street driving with the occasional twisty back road spirited drive along with 1/4 track time. I'm not to savvy on suspension parts or coilovers. Would these be something that to match me or are these more for an autox, roadrace kinda guy?

The guys at Fortune are actually out to really benefit the people they make the products for. They definitely keep looking at ways to improve their coilovers. I actually had the first set of Impreza coilovers back when they first went into business a few years ago. Let me say they've come a long way since what I had. I also worked with the owner to get them in production for the s2000 and had the very first set of those too. I was very impressed with them. I can say with confidence these are better than any other coilover in that price range.

**In no way do I benefit from saying the above and I'm not affiliated with them in any way. Just a happy customer**

Terry and the crew at Fortune are always very dedicated to helping customers out. After all, they were enthusiasts first, just like you and me

Having the ability to professionally rebuild in house is an awesome perk that isn't available anywhere else at this price point.

However you look at it, the Swift Springs will always feel and perform better. I think it's definitely worth the upgrade, but you can always get them with the regular springs, and upgrade later to the Swifts. This way, you can get to know your car, and if you aren't happy with the spring rates you chose the first time, you can change it up with Swifts! As our customer, you'll still be entitled to the same price for upgrading at any time.

As far as the spring rates go though, we can put together a set for you that will ride comfortably, and still allow you to have fun that other 10% of the time

I don't believe they have a fitment for that unless it's the same as the 97-01 GC8. We'll check on that and see.

I am also interested in these, pending some more specs including suspension travel. I'm curious to see how these would compare to TiC's SST coilovers.

Updated the list!

The WRX coilovers were measured at 3.5" of front stroke and 4" of rear stroke, and all of the Subaru coilover offerings have similar travel specs. Those measurements are from full extension to the bump stop.

As far as spring rates go, please send us a PM with your year and model of Subaru and we'd be happy to advise you on spring rates. Our recommendations will differ for each car and each driver's preferences.
