Default Newbie to Forum and Subaru Intro!!

Hello Everyone,

Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm new to the forum and Subaru all together. I'm more active in the Nissan/Infiniti scene as I currently own a 2004 G35 coupe which is my pride and joy and soon to be garage queen. I don't currently own a Subaru but hope to own a 2013 WRX daily driver later this year and put the G in the garage.

In the meantime, I've already read through Unabomber's Manifesto. Man that was a ton of stuff and great info! I just hope I don't ask too many redundant questions being a noob after all my research is done. Hahah!!

Pleasure to meet everyone!

- Ryan -

A couple pics of the G...

Welcome to the forum, Ryan. Well done on doing some homework and becoming familiar with Ron's manifesto. It'll help later on if/when you buy your WRX and want to tinker with it.

Got'ny pics of the G?

New to the forum, first time subie owner and so far so good. Few tweaks here and there but overall happy. Already been doing so much reading on here. You all are a great knowledge base and seem to be great people!

Thanks! Unfortunately, it is not. I had plans on doing so but after pricing it out it would be around 12k installed and tuned with a built engine. With the car having 100k miles I didn't think it would be a wise decision financially and as I don't have a daily driver. This is why I'm choosing to purchase a WRX. Already has a turbo and great platform to build up on. I can keep my G35 as my show car and the Rex as the Go car hehehe...

Not to mention the wife is happy b/c it's 4 doors and has more room Hahah

Nice G! Very clean, not gaudy at all. Can't go wrong with SSRs.

Thanks! Simple and Clean is my modus operandi. Less is always more in my opinion. I'll definitely use the same concept with the WRX when I get it. Although it will probably see more track and autocross time than my G ever did so i'm sure it will be pretty simple.

I love SSR's the style is very classic and have to thank my wife for the picking the wheels and color combo.

Welcome aboard and good luck with the Subaru

I've always had a soft spot for the G35's. 3 years ago I narrowed it down to an '05 G35 and my current '04 WRX. Test drove both, ended up with the Subaru for several reasons. However, I wouldn't mind owning the G as well!
