i heard the scoobysport axle-back on the txs catless setup. it sounded super nice. only loud when you stepped on it at WOT. prodrive is nice, but i only heard that through clips online.

I'm in the same boat as you.... catless and my SPT axleback was just TOO loud.
I saw on the back of Turbo magazine there was an ad for the GReddy Evo catback and they claim it was the quietest in a test of several... 94dB at idle, 92dB at 3000rpm i think. Most vendors sell the catback system for something like $499-$599. |

I just got a Scorpion axleback. It sounds like the Prodrive and is straight through so it would breathe better than the stocker. There's a guy over on ClubWRX who got people hooked up with a place down in Florida that's unloading a bunch of them.
There's a guy running it with his stealthback and complaining that it's too quiet so it might be what you're looking for... heh... |

I am in the same boat as you. I recenly gutted my TXS cat (boy do i regret doing that now).
I know prodrive is quiet but over priced. As mentioned, the Scorpion is pretty much identical to the Prodrive but half the price. I can't put my stocker back on since I sold it already. I will either buy the TXS cat again (sigh) or just install a quieter axle back. |

I'm catless with a HKS downpipe and a ATR uppipe and I have the Prodrive WRSport and it's sounds really nice w/o being annoying loud. I would go ahead and order the Scorpion version. I even think that the Scorpion is one of the least expensive catbacks available. I highly recommend the Prodrive.
