Question How often do you clean your rims?

I am doing a poll to see how often you people clean your rims. I want to know if the people with expensive aftermarket rims clean them more frequently then the stockers. I notice that I am cleaning my rims now more than before now than I have aftermarket.

Every time I wash the car.

edit:
Once a week or whenever it doesn't rain all week like it has been this year. This includes waxing the rims as well.

Stock Scooby rims get cleaned every time I wash the car.

Wheels on my Porsche get cleaned after every trip, mainly because the Performance Friction pads that I have in there turn the wheels black within 1 tank of gas. However for stopping the car they can not be beat. Ever try repeatedly slowing down from 140+ MPH? You don't want to without these pads: Performance Friction Carbon Metallic Z Rated street pads. I have a set of race compound 83 as well but they are too much for street use.

Every time I wash the car I clean my stock MY00 rims. Thats about 1-2 times a week, more often 1 time a week, unless I have problems or a meet or bird guts splattered all over my car (you don't want to know... and no, I didn't hit it even!).

Once a week for real (stock MY00), but maybe if they get really dirty. I'll use the cheap spray off stuff mid-week

I clean the rims every time I bathe the car. Then I also do the Meguiares(sp?) 3-Step once a year. It takes a while to do but is worth it!

Washed and cleaned. Even got a special alloy wheel cleaner. Then give it a good polish and wax later.

I wash my car every week. I recommend that everyone wash their car every week. Why? Tar. The sooner you get them off, the less work you'll need to clean it off. Also, your paint lasts longer. The bugs, and there are plenty ths year, can accumilate on your air dam and side view mirror. With the heat and sun, tar and bug splats can do a number on your paint.

I wash my rims everytime I wash my car since we have 4 wheel disc brakes. And since I have white rims - they NEED to be cleaned.

Aaackk... I live on a dirt road, so my cleanings are a little more infrequent. Usually every two weeks. Sometimes sooner, sometimes later.

Though, as soon as I leave to go anywhere my car is dusty and dirty again. Flip side is I get to play everyday in the dirty stuff.
