You seem to be testing a lot of stuff and although I don't even own a WRX (and don't intend too either), I have an appreciation for what you are doing (and those like you that are testing lots and lots of stuff). Just wanted to say thanks and good luck!

BTW: You better be getting a roll cage in that thing, seriously. I really don't want to read about you getting killed because the car got out of hand going up the strip. Post 110mph is pretty fast. I never thought I'd see the day when I would post something like this.

Guys, just be careful. Your getting really fast in a short amount of time. L8Rs
Thanks Kev - from you these are great words to hear - - I will heed your words of caution carefully - soon I will be going 120 mph in the 1/4 - I am already doing 115 and 116 when I get a full pass and it seems things are starting to break and screw up almost on every run - - an accident at thats speed would not be fun - espcially with no front bumper beam and no air bags !

I am very concerened about the speed and where this hobby is taking me - - but I do not think I have the self control to abandon this course until I can find a way to run 10.99 - - this is my goal and I think I can be there by the time the fall comes and the cool weather comes

I do not fully uinderstand WHY I am doing this - I do not logically see a reason for doing all this work and spending so much time doing research, working on the car and waiting in pit lanes at the track -- - It would be nice to not feel compelled to do it - - but for some unkown reason its something I just have to do

At least there are a few others that are doing the same thing so I dont feel alone

I keep dreaming at night of depressing that NOS button down the whole strip and approaching 120 mph ! I watch my dvd of TFATF way too often and that NOS has me thinking strange stuff - I have been through too many bottles already !

Speed does kill - - but I tell you that crossing that finish line wide open at 110 mph plus is a very very good feeling !

Amen! No need for logic. I understand fully! I'm in the same boat now except that I don't have as much funds as you to devote to my hobby. It's the passion for racing and going faster and faster. Just be glad you are here now and lots of people share your passion to go faster down the dragstrip......in a subaru. 2.5 years ago, the club would've thrown holy water on you for saying the '1/4 mile' in a post.
