Holy stretch batman. I would go with the 8.75 on a 225 tire.

The car isn't powerful enough for me to justify bigger tires, and 225's are already 20mm over factory width. I'm not in to the stretched tire look so I was already shying away from the 9.75's. I do like poke though, so that's why +20 instead of +35.

Alan, I'm looking at 527's first, but the 530's have my interest as well. Either in gold (at least for this season). I know 527's are played out but I love their design and the way they look on our cars.

Yeah that is going to be a lot of stretch on a 9.75" wheel. That would be a full 1.25" beyond the recommended wheel size for a 225. I say go with the the 8.75. If you just want the flush look and you will get that with a +20.

Hey all. I'm wondering if anybody has any suggestions for machine shops to do some machine work and/or engine work. I've had some work done by NAPA on Patterson in the past, but not on Subaru stuff. From what I've read there's a pretty specific process required for honing the short block, and I want a shop that does Subaru work.

I bought a Legacy with bad head gaskets (external leak) and it's got some light scoring in two of the cylinders. I'm guessing it overheated a bit. Trying to weigh my options and figure out what the most cost effective route is at this point. I've completely torn down an ej25 engine before, just haven't assembled one yet.

Still have (4) Stock WRX 235/45/17 Dunlop SP Sport 01s. Have about 7500 Miles on em all of them still in really good shape. Threw Blizzaks on for the Winter and just put on some new wheels/tires. $325 for the set.

I'd suggest Force Engineering in Plainwell.
