Whatever, they will serve their purpose for the time being. I plan on replacing the entire suspension and lowering the lift a bit eventually. Last edited by Whitford; 03-21-2012 at 06:54 PM. |

don't worry about it. When you lower the lift, get the bilstein's that I mentioned. Reservoir shocks = more fluid = less chance of overheating . the 5150s are good without the ridiculous cost of king's or the like. |

i would second that, 5150s rock for the price. if you want a semi cheap rebuildable one you can check out F.O.A or proform

I would like to have changed the suspension now but my schedule is just too nuts. Until I can, I'm going to save up for something especially nice and beefy. |

It's an AT tire, you'll have that with pretty much every one. You didn't buy a hardcore, off-road tire. I'm sure you knew that when you bought them. Also, The Phenx is a tire nazi...
The point is... if you're going to go off-road, exercise caution. |

Aye.. they are good for dirt roads, sand, gravel.. period, thats the extent of the all terrain .
I have seen (on my own rig) a 1/4" twig rip a 6" gash in the sidewall. |

Which is ironic considering I'm Jewish HAHAHAH!!!
Were taking it back. But yes I tend to lean toward to the offroad angle. I don't build no stinking onroad vehicles... Here is a fun one we built last year.. its about to go under the knife and get more stretch and FJ axles on 39's. In case your curious.. those are stock tj coils. |

In my defense, they came with the FJ when I bought it. I just changed the wheels, so no research was done. I'm too much of a ***** to do any serious rock crawling, so they have been fine for my needs.
