Another believer in P21S Total Auto Wash
I have been a lurker on here for a while as I want to get better at detailing. Well I am slowly building up my tools, knowledge (still very much a novice), and materials. However, I thought I would do a quick detail of my engine bay with my recent purchase of some P21S Total Auto Wash.
The pictures speak from themselves, but really this product is really great. I had to do very little scrubbing and the car came out great. Also, it woks great for wheels, but going to buy some of the wheel gel next. Again, this is a great product, and if you are interested then buy from some of the local vendors here. Also, I did do some slight dressing with some armor all (sorry it is what I had). Before: After: Enjoy and any advice or constructive criticism welcomed.

im curious so here comes question time...
-besides the alternator, did you cover anything else? terminals of battery? -what did you use for scrubbing? -for the rinse, did you pressure wash or just use a hose? -any final product on there to shine up the black trim? thanks! and it looks great. |

2) I just used a detailing brush that I had around nothing special. It was like a looser scotch bright pad if that makes sense. Again, with this product I didnt have to do much scrubbing. 3) Hose 4) I used armor all. I wouldn't recommend this product, but it is what I had. I really like SwissVax Pneu, Black Max, or Adams VRT. Hope that helped Last edited by ctrent86; 12-14-2008 at 11:06 PM. |

Looks good. The autowash is strong yet gental.P21s makes some great products. The gel wheel cleaner i would only suggest on heavily dirty wheels.I use just a old sponge and carwash soap and if that doesnt work then i spray the Gel wheel cleaner and let it sit then aggitate with a wheel brush. There paintwork cleaner is great and so is the concourse and 100% carnauba wax as well.

You don't need to cover the battery or disconnect the terminals. Just cover up the:
- alternator - MAF sensor - SRI Otherwise, the rest is safe. Just don't soak it completely and be sure to dry it really well. |

Yes I did forget to recommend to cover the SRI filter. Also, be sure to keep it free of the products you use as it could and more than likely will degrade the filter. Good point! |

problem with armor all is it is tacky so it will likely make dust stick.
