Thanks everyone.

Here is the article Cobb wrote up regarding these runs:

http://blogs.cobbtuning.com/2011/10/...cobb-ots-maps/

I am currently running a Protune from Junior @ P&L that should put me into the low 12's on 93 octane pump gas. Unfortunately, weather has not been on my side and the track is now closed so I will have to wait until next season to get back to the track.

Wow excellent driving. Credit where credit is due. More bolt ons/retune still on pump 11's in your future.

Next season you will see your low 12s on 93. Just from the data we got testing the 2 maps we know there was a gain.
Clutch and injectors and then we go for 11s
With your driving I know it is going to happen!

Excellent driving is an understatment. The guy is like an automatic transmission. Every pass is with .0X of the other. I was both amazed and then shocked by his shifting after reviewing his datalogs.

I would not be shocked if I saw him squeak out an 11.9@112-113mph on 93.

This guy is a beast!

Congrats again and I look forward to next season!

Great 60ft times.

Curious to see your times and trap speeds in the summer months. Not taking anything away from your times. Just saying being it was 45 degrees out is going to help tremendously on traps with a turbo car loving that cold air.

I agree with that. My average 60ft's are 1.7's with a best of 1.73 and I feel I can drive pretty well.

Cool air helps for sure on a turbo car especially with a tmic. I went to my local track a few weeks ago when it was in the 50's and managed a 12.80 @ 107 with a Cobb AP, Invidia catted downpipe and Q300 cat back, stock intake with my wrx.

sorry for the thread revival, but those are in fact some impressive numbers.

With my stage 2 STI 290whp/331wtq, I could only reach 13.43 with 1.7 60' times at Englishtown looks like I am a horrible driver.

Englishtown is pretty decent track too, with my wrx on a stage 2 TP map I ran a 12.9. You're 60 ft time seems good so either your car lost power since your tune or your shifting slower than you should be. I'm looking to go back soon now that I had my protune.

To the OP: Amazing driving sir! Good luck with the 11's!

Thanks, still working on it.

12.05 with a 12.08 to back it up earlier this season. Have been modding since then and still hoping to get to the track this month for that 11.xx

i hear yah. i brought my vf52 swapped 08 wrx to a local track a few weeks ago.i have a stage 3 93 octane setup running 22 psi. it was my first time drag racing ever. i ran a 13.30@102 first run. next runs were a 13.39,13.64,and a 13.74. my best 60ft was a 1.99. im sure i could be in the 12s with some practice. i wasnt launching hard either.stock clutch still. my fastest trap speed was a 104.6. im looking foward to going again in the spring and trying for 12s! it was a real rush to race down the track though.

That is very impressive. I would love to see what you could do if you were running your same setup but with E85 and a tune for it.

I know I'm a fair amount faster than a pro-tuned stage 2 GR on the track but I've always wondered what my Stage 2 + E85 setup could do in the 1/4. I have zero experience drag racing though.
