Default I want to stick a hot soldering iron in my eye.

Just to relieve some of the pain I'm experiencing in talking with Dell. I swear to God, I'm speaking to an uppity Bill Lumberg.

Fifteen (15) hard drive replacements.

15 times trying to tell this guy how to spell my name.
15 times repeating the same address.
15 times telling him the EXACT SAME PROBLEM.

Soon, I'll be sent over to dispatch, so I can repeat the same ****ing thing!

15 incidents of the same problem?? You are spending too much energy with this guy. Go above his head and get a resolution to the problem as it is warranted with 15 instances of the same issue.

In your case I believe they are right in giving you a hard time, if you do something like that and the thing just "craps out" then yes, they are going to believe you broke it because there is a good chance you did.

Nah, I was the communications chief for a Marine Unit that just returned from the middle east, and over the course of 9 months, things have a tendency to break.
