Looking at 97 Legacy GT - Good or Bad?
I'm in the market to buy a Legacy (preferably GT) and have found one that intrigues me... its a red 97 GT but with 124k miles on it, and the price is $6000... is this a good deal? The timing belt was replaced at 90k miles, thats about the only thing I know about the car. I've heard several people say that subaru's are only good up until the 100k mark, then they start having nonstop problems - any truth to that statement?
i've never owned a subaru so i dont know what to expect and what to look for. im coming from owning an extremely reliable acura and i'd like something that will get me around without any trouble or much maitenence besides the scheduled work. any advice and/or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
