JDM 5mt and 6mt tranny will fit EJ2.0, EJ2.2 and EJ2.5. Basicly any contemproary EJ2x motor as far as I know. Sometimes not all the housing bolts are used but not that big a deal. It is a DCCD tranny, I assume it is as you state a computer hooked up?

If so it will work with out the controller your center diff will run in open position giving 70-30 torque split or so. That is fine, just do not take it on a dyno with independent rollers like a Dyno Jet.

Hope that helps. Good luck man!

You may have to use a V7 or newer STi flywheel to run a 6 speed. Either that or you can modify the clutch forks by welding a little bit on the end of them to make them longer.

it isnt nessesary to get a new flywheel, you can go from a 5mt to a 6mt........just not 6mt to 5mt.

If it is DCCD you can dyno it if it is a dyno with rollers tied together. Like Dyno Dynamics for instance. If not and you have no DCCD controller, the center diff is open and will want to send torque to the rear. Then the 2 axles will rotate at different speeds causing the center diff to go mad trying to correct what it is casuing. Very expensive mistake.

If it is non DCCD there is no issue.
