Default First Tune Next Week ... Need Advice

My goals with my current setup are: To get the most practical/reliable performance out of the stock td04 as a daily driver.
02 WRX Wagon

My Current Mods:

Modded Airbox (Additional 3inch pipe to fender hole)
Drop-in Air Filter
Afta-Maf Hose
Silicon Inlet
Metal Y-pipe
TGV Deletes
Parallel Fuel Rails
Gutted Up Pipe
Bellmouth Down Pipe

I do not want a full exhaust.
I know 300 whp is not possible with the td04.
I just want to be able to pull away from a stock STi.
I am getting it tuned to 18 psi. on 91 oct.
I do have a set of modded stock injectors but I've read the are not necessary.

If I do the FPR Mod (to make up for 5 psi MAP increase), will that be sufficient with the td04 or will i have to upgrade the fuel pump also?

Are there any other weak links that need upgraded that I forgot about?
I found someone else with this setup before but I cannot find it again. They called it the Big Turbo Setup with out the big turbo.

Thanks Guys!!

Port your stock headers/manifolds/crossover pipe. Do the FPR mod. Lightweight pulleys.
Is your bellmouth DP a full or a shorty? If its a shorty buy a catted full like Titek, or run a catted TXS stealthback with a stock axleback (I had this, its not loud at all.)

A larger FP is never a bad idea -- cheap insurance. As for everything else, talk to your tuner about your goals and see what they suggest.

The fact that you're having it tuned for a specific PSI sends up a red flag to me. I don't trust any tuner that 'knows' what boost he will pull out of it. Every car is different, some happier with more boost, some happy at lower boost. You never know until you're actually tuning. For example, my friend's bugeye wasn't happy at anything above 17ish PSI on pump gas, where my car was happy up to 20.5 PSI.

The fuel pump wouldn't be a bad idea, but the modded stock injectors are a little much. Your gas mileage will suffer and idle will be hard to nail, which means it will take longer to tune and thus more expensive. Some tuners are better than others and have preferences so it's not that simple, but that's what I've seen in my experience.

oh sorry for the confusion, <19 psi is just where i was comfortable goal wise. my tuner hasent said it would be anything. i just dont want to be maxxing at 20 or something like that so i can keep this setup long-term and not be putting too much wear on the engine.

Let the tuner set your goal then, not you. If your car is happy running 20, it's not going to be any worse than 17 PSI. If the car isn't happy past 18 but he wants to run 21, THAT is a problem. You're only making things more complicated for yourself

So I am also going to get a tune and still have the stock td04. I also just purchased perrin fuel rail, fuel regulator, PE 820cc injectors and pump on my quest for an evoIII16G. It will probably be at least a couple months till I get the turbo, so should I wait to get my stuff put on till I get the 16G? Or should I get it put on and then get it tuned?

Do it once, do it right. Alternately, if it aint broke don't fix it.

Install the 16G and supporting mods, then get it tuned.
