Default Pike's Peak International Hill Climb Check In

I'm registered on AWDpirates.net but there appears to be no definate plans.

My heart trembles at the thought of the mountain.

What is going on for pre party crap on Friday, or Saturday? About 5 carload of hicks are stayin in Manitou Springs. It appears that Etchy (Gerg) is deployed in Irak, as he was the major organiser. It seems tha Heuberger is forgoing the annual parc expose at the dealership as well as no Rally America entries are present on this years calendar.

I hear Pikes Peaks are nice this time of year though, I've heard rumors of excellent perkiness.

Did you hear? This year they are having wine tasting and a moving modern mechanical art exhibit over the lunch hour break.

I'll be there, but the entry list is thin to say the least. Only 1 PP unlimited entry, no RS200SE's made it to the list, and Hawkeswood has schedule conflicts this year...

No Hueberger party because no Hueberger car (or that is how the entry list looks atleast)...

Ok, so Mach2 isnt coming with Stig/RS200. Tajima is coming? In what car? The Escudo? Eriksson and the XsaraWRC? Horiuchi in the FTO?

What about the local Colorado guys, such as Tanner and Wyeth? Dallenbach? Moody? Any Unsers? I suppose Vasholtz's are coming.

Sidecar Motorcycles?

I can't find much chatter on R-A or specialstage.com re: any of this information.

Not much on the list.
The Escudo is listed as entered. Tanner, and all the other rally guys are out. the Dallenbachs are in. Moody is out. 8 pro trucks, Horiuchi is not listed (both of them are absent) Leonard is running the explorer in PPO, with the other superstock trucks. there is an ej25 pgt car in PPO along with Ediger, Gary Pikes Peak Openin a 2002 Subaru Impreza.

The dallenbachs, keeney, and donner are in the openwheelers. Clint and regester in the super stock cars. No mike ryan that I see on the list either.

And yes, Mach2Racing and Paul Gerrards programs are not on the list, and as I stated, hawkeswood had schedule conflicts.

there are a bunch of exhibition entries, including some in the riders category as well as 3 low emissions vehicle race touaregs (dakar cars?).

5 side cars are listed as well...

Yeah give us a break we're very busy plundering bootie and drinking rum.

You should be seeing some talk over there here in a week or so. There are a couple of threads in "Road & Track" but as you said, nothing definate yet.

Rally America is not making it an event this year so there shouldn't be many if any of them coming out.

I didn't hear about Hueberger not doing their thing this year, I'll have to call them and see.

Where you staying, on the mountain? I've got freinds camping up there to save us a spot while I sleep comfy in the Sheraton.
