That is so weird. I was just looking at them in the phone book and was wondering if they had a AWD dyno. Logged on and here is this post. Must be close to halloween.

Talking

Yes it is true!

Called and talked to a Brad, very nice guy.

It is a Mustang Dyno. First one built.
Can handle up to 750HP
Up to 160MPH

Base pricing starts a $100
This will get you all set up and a base run.

From there it is a $100 per hour for you to do a many runs as you can with what ever changes you want to try.

Bad thing, not open weekends.
He said he would be open to a group of people coming in a Saturday and with that would get a group rate. Needing several people and at least 6 hours.

Call them for more info.

Ha laughed when I told him I had a Subaru.
He said is that not a oxymoron?
He said he has seen stranger things.

Time to give him a lessen

adam

I would be up for a Saturday dyno run. I want to see what kind of a differance my Denso Iridium Plugs actually make, I mean it feels more powerful and my gas mileage has improved some.(That's hard to tell I'm such a lead foot.) BTW Hey subiegal, got some decent pics of your car at the rallyX last time you were here.I had the my00 RS sedona red sedan. Later, subystyle ;D

Jason, I have heard that there are less than five 4WD dyno's in the US. Not sure if that it true though.

Sweet! Bryan, I'd be happy to help you tune your car, however, the next version of the TEC-II software is self-tuning, as far as the VE table, so you might want to wait for that. It should be out this month.

Anybody know the differences between a mustang dyno and a dynojet?

It is interesting to note that dynojet makes a 4wd addition to their 2wd dynos...I bet we see more of these pop up thanks to the subies.

Anybody know how much a new dynojet costs anyway? I wonder if it would be a good investment to just buy on and stick it in the garage

One last thought; a much cheaper way to get HP numbers is to use the Home Dyno, which is a software package that costs maybe $30. There is also a free version named something else out there too. These measure HP the same way the real dynos do. Done correctly, they can be more accurate because it's done while your car is moving, so you don't have to worry about IC heatsoak or breathing in extra hot intake air. I can pass along more info if anybody wants it.
