For a local subaru group check out the Western Subaru Club as well. Really good community.

Is it rule here to have your side skirts painted? I was thinking that an unpainted black lip would look pretty cool with the black skirts. Or am I foolishly mistaken???

Think of your car as your own canvas, you can draw whatever you want on it. But there is a line you don't cross.

Won't looks as clean as painted.. might even disrupt the overall look. Like Mr. Wang said though your canvas.

I just like to be the advocate.

It takes a lot to make unpainted skirts look good. Normally it makes the car look rather cheap or unfinished, in my opinion... It'd be the first mod I'd do if I bought a stock bugeye.

HA. Alrighty. I just know how painted skirts are viewed here.. I think they look great, just wondered why. I get the whole "unfinished" point too. Thanks!

^^^ Great looking car BTW. Perfect look IMO.

Just got it on tonight. Have had it in a box since last Spring. Prodrive front bumper, rear bumper and sideskirts with the blackchrome headlights and V9 207 and V7 powdercoated wheels. Been two years building this thing.
