Forester Introducing my new ride

Well it has made an appearance at the Byrne road Timmies meet but I haven't taken the time to post on here.

It is a 1997 JDM Forester S/tb
2.0L turbo
Super fun to drive since my last Fozzie died in the Okanagan and I have spent the last year driving around in an overweight underpowered automatic Legacy GT wagon.

Plans. I think I will focus on tightening up the handling as for now it has enough power (But more is always nice). As well as some tasteful yet effective interior and exterior mods. Such as a non JDM stereo and some Supertones.

Always wanted one of these, its probably the only thing I would ever consider trading in my jdm sti for ATM. Looks very clean, would love to get one of these as a 2nd for my dogs. Are the fozzies of this year the 20G? if so theres always robs tune which I have the 550 and can vouche my car is much quicker then stock. Anyway, love the fozzy and love the white. My buddy has a set of teins, he's selling them cheap for 400 because 1 is in need of rebuild(sold his car, never got to installing) and itll cost about 100 to rebuild so if you have some time before looking to swap could be a cheap route for you!

Looking forward to seeing this beauty take shape.

A few suggestions if your open to them

-Suspension
-Bucket seats
-Wheels (the stock ones do suite it as well though!)
-Tune/engine/exhaust

Yes, it is great for the family and the dog. It had some cosmetic blemishes but how many 15 year old cars don't. It only had 50k KMS when I picked it up so I wasn't going to complain. It does have the 20g but Rob was saying that their is something different with the Foresters ECU, so I will need to find a spare one for him to tinker with.
That sounds like a good deal on the Tiens just not sure i want to go as low as coilovers will take me. We will see.
Thanks for the suggestion they are all pretty much what I had in mind.

I don't make it out much. Juggling a job a business a wife, 2 kids and a car habit is a tough gig sometimes.

Thanks though for the comment.

Yes I saw that very cool and great work. If I don't find anything suspension wise used I will have to pay you guys a visit. What am I saying I will need to bring it in for an alignment anyway.

For sure man!! We can definitely get you some suspension stuff and it doesn't always need to be super expensive. When you're ready to do something fire me an email and we'll talk about some options
