Well just checked today and it isn't my alternator belt. I took the belt off and started the car for a few seconds to see if the chirping noise went away and it didn't. Instead it sounded now like it was coming from somewhere closer to the turbo. It usually goes away once the car is warmed up though.

Has your clutch ever been changed? my throwout bearing made some weird chirping noise before it went out on me. and that would make sense hearing to noise near the Turbo is that was it with the tranny being right there.

Yea supposedly my clutch was changed about 25k miles ago. The guy told me he put in a carbon/kevlar clutch. I believe him because the clutch is super finnicky haha, not at all like my friends stock STi clutch.

I'm thinking it has to do with the wast gate fluttering and that I need to adjust the arm somehow. The only problem is I can't tell if it is the wastegate because I don't have a boost gauge so I can't tell if I'm hitting peak boost or not. If I had a gauge it'd be a lot easier to diagnose, turbo wise anyway.

Hi, I just wanted to let all the SCV folks know that we have set up a meet that also happens every Friday at the Target in Canyon Country, off Golden Valley Road and Hwy 14. We had several Subies show a couple of weeks ago. It is in a great spot overlooking the entire valley and lots of places to eat in the area.
We meet from 7-9pm and sometimes go for a canyon run afterwards.
Maybe we can combine our talents and get this area to finally have a large car gathering in town. Come on by tomorrow night.

¿Por que? (for why) do u start meet 5 minutes away from currently set up meet on same day? No understand :-/ the whole foods meet is right next to the mall, and has been in place for quite some time. It's designed to be pretty centralized for everyone in the SCV and still near good eats and hang outs. I think you all should stick to the SCV whole foods meet. Unless we smell or something :-/ But either way you are all more then welcome to share our parking lot and hang out hopefully you can merge yours with ours.
