Default F/S/T 00 2.5 rs wheels gunmetalish

Traded my wrx wheels for them in rally chipped condition so I painted/ cleared them. I like them but I need some money/snow tires. I'll meet upto 250 miles if the deal is right. I'm staying about an hour east of pittsburgh. I havn't looked at them in a while becuase of the snow but I'm 90% sure there arnt any chips, it's been a good 5000 miles so far and alls gone good with the paint. Tires have plenty of life in them just not the best in the snow.

sand, wash, sand, wash, wipe, primer, coat of color x4, coat of clear x2

tires are dayton zr or sumthing like that... 205/55/16... I didn't buy these tires I got them in a trade for my wrx wheels with some nittos, I don't even know who sells this brand but theres alot of info on them on the net... the domestic people use em...

If I sell them I have no wheels to roll on... I really just want anything that fits and has snow tires... I'm not use to driving in snow and the tires on there now don't help any.

I'm trying to buy a set of wrx wheels off ebay... I'll let everyone knows how that turns out... These wheels will go for around 550ish if I can pick up a set of wrx wheels. I'd rather not ship them becuase of cost, if you want to pay for it sure...

just curious what kind of paint you used to paint them...They look darker than the "regular" silver, right??

Thanks,

I forgot what color/paint I used but just pick any rattle can you want and it will work, just finish up with wheel paint clear not regular clear, unless you want a dull finish. I used 200 grit sand paper (I think), regular car primer, then couple coats of color, then some clear. Its almost like painting a car but easier. Make sure to mask the tires good, index cards going up and down the long way work real good if you dont feel like taping on rubber.

EDIT: all paint on my wheels were duplicolor...

his wheels are also painted but we used a color from the hardware store, also used a clear from the hardware store. Both sets of wheels havnt seen any chipping, difference is I drive the crappy roads of PA with no chips, he stroles around Floirda with his, O how I miss Floirda already.

another pic just because i'm homesick and want my wheels but not my tires in the snow

BlackWagon-

I've been looking for a set of RS wheels for a lil' while now. I will outright trade you for my wheels and tires...got just over 7K miles on them. The tires are OEM...not snow, per se...but of course all-weather.

Who would want to trade you WRX wheels and money for your rims when you said they are in "Rally Chipped" condition. They obviously have more wear and tear on them than most WRX wheels. Plus 550 dude thats nuts I know what it feels like to have no money but thats just a rip off. I couldnt pay any more than 300, 400 maybe for the tires. I also live in PA and actually enjoy the snowcovered roads. I find them fun. Just go slow and your gonna be fine.

Rally chipped wheels that have been sanded down and primed and painted... Just because I bought them in rally condition doesn't mean I don't know how to unchip them . Whats so nuts about 550 for 00 rs wheels... If it was such a rip off I wouldn't have people offering me 550 (where I got the price from) It's pointless for me to sell for 550 and not have wheels because instead of being stuck in the driveway because my tires don't like snow i'll have no wheels to roll on.
