If that includes destination you should watch for extra fees when it comes down to writing it up but it's a good deal. You should pull the trigger!

Hopefully my dealer will update me or tell me mine is here today.

Yep, Richmond, CA and also Vancouver, WA.

I tried to figure out what ship is heading this way but really have no idea. NYK lists schedules for their ships but none of the roro's (car carriers) seem to be on that schedule.

PBP STI Sedan w/ Navi:

Ordered: Aug15th give November ETA and VON.
Hold: Was put on hold for 2 months or so.
November 30th: Given December ETA
December 7th: Given Dec21st Schedule date, Jan 7th ETA.
December 26th: Car in transit on Rail, still Jan 7th ETA.

So close, cant wait. Jan 7th + a couple days for 3m film / tint / etc... going to put me at around 22 weeks total to get the car start to finish. Should be worth the wait though.

After debating on whether to buy a new or used WRX for the last few months and constantly checking dealer inventories, I decided to just take a stab at a new 2013 WRX in exactly the configuration I wanted at Tacoma Subaru. Dark grey metallic, premium hatch w/o navi.

I went on Christmas eve and the sales manager was reasonable and in a jolly enough mood to make the sale. I was able to get about a grand below msrp which is less than what edmunds and usaa said was a 'great' price, so I'm happy.

First shot of my new lovely:

Going to get all weather mats, the auto dimming mirror, armrest extension, and rear bumper cover installed when i go in for my first oil change

Looks like our cars are coming on the same train!! STi, SWP, navi, hatch. I was wondering how long it takes to get from vancover to Chicago and then to here.... Ordered just a week after you.

The wait is killing me!!!!!!!!!

I ordered mine from Subaru of Plano on 11/10 and still haven't heard anything from them. I called the dealership and my salesman said he still hasn't received a VIN yet -___-

Oh ps, im new to the forums! I've been creeping around without a user for some time now though. Lol

That's identical to what I'm should have any day now. These cars have such good resale value that it's worth it to buy new and be the one to break it in and enjoy the newness. Also good interest rates. I'm going to get the floor liners from weathertech and was not sure about the auto dim mirror if I get dark tint.

Congrats and enjoy!

I stopped into the dealer with my brother in law because he wanted to check out a BRZ and in talking to the salesman happened to find out that the STi I ordered will be arriving on 1-17-13. Which is a month or so earlier than I had expected after hearing about the 4 month lead time (I ordered mid-Nov).

The auto dim mirror should work just fine with tint. It reacts to how much light hits the sensor, so if your windows are tinted less light is hitting the sensor so it won't get as dark. You probably don't need the auto dim if you have dark tint, but it certainly won't be the case that it will get so dark that you won't be able to see.

Thanks. Been driving it for a week now and I love the amount of cargo room there is. And the extra power is nice too. Coming from a corolla this is a big change for me. I'd like to add a rear bumper protector on the car since I need to move a lot of stuff around for my business but they are so expensive. Cheapest I found was $50 and it's just a plastics piece that glues on to the bumper. Why do these things have to be so expensive?

Finally graduated from the thread :

Ordered: 10/28
VON: 10/28
VIN: 11/23
ETA: 12/26
Delivered: 12/14
Picked Up: 12/26 (took forever to sell my WRX!)

Here are some crappy cell phone pics:

Some minor annoyances, the dealer didn't detail it the best (little to no wax, I can see swirls already ;_, the car is slightly pulling to the right, and I'm having issues with the Bluetooth Audio. Love the car otherwise, really hard waiting for the break in xD. @60 miles and counting...

Exactly. No one would sell me a used 2009+ hatch w/reasonable miles for less than $26k so I had to go new. The weathertech floor liners are nice but almost 3x as expensive. I'm hoping I don't get thatt dirty haha.

And thanks man! I'm loving it so far. Coming from a 99 integra with a whopping 140hp, this thing is an absolute beast.

Thanks Meeno for the info. I am getting 30% tint done soon too and mostly wanted the mirror for the compass.

Congrats! I'm very jealous! I'm waiting on mine (still ). It's supposed to be in Boston as of 12/10, so I'm hoping I see her any day now!
