She started life as a FWD 1.8L Impreza L grandma grocery getter.

Picked up this donor for $1000. No rust, minor cosmetic damage, and original paint.

1997 Subaru Impreza STI Ver 3 clip arrived from Japan!

Shopped around for a while to find the right setup in the right condition. Hard find but found one with low mileage and in good condition. Came shipped on one palet (entire rear end, all suspension components, wheels, brakes, deck lid, front end body panels, headlights, tranny).

The old fuel pump wasn't gonna quench the STI thirst so I went with a higher volume Walbro.

Firewall Fab Work......RHD clip so we have to adjust accordingly!

The one thing I don't do is weld.....so I had my buddy "TURBO TOM" do his thing....some of you probably have his "Ludespeed" turbo kits on your RS's from back in the day.
