Talking My god that was fun

Well, today we put a Turbo XS stealthback exhaust, manual boost controller and shorty intake on a customers STI. If you think the STI is fun to drive stock, just try it at 16 psi without the stock exhaust restrictions. The customer had me drive the car to fine tune the boost levels, and once it was settup correctly, I took him for a ride. Once I put my foot down his response was "OH MY GOD!"

Now he can't wait for the STI UTEC and a bigger turbo. I may be afraid to drive the car after that.

Hey now, lets take a poll as to who has broken more WRX parts, me or you.

I think you are a few ahead on that list. As a matter of fact, I have broken only two Subaru parts in my career; #3 and #4 on the RS.

Subaru Stars

I have to agree with Kent on this one.

STi's here on the Dyno with turbo back exhausts and MCB set at just 15 lbs are putting out right at 300 HP to the wheels. Not real sure what if any power was gained from the shorty intake but just the same, STI's with these minor mods are putting out good numbers.

I still stand by the fact that the destruction of Motor #1 was an act of god.

Yes, god made him drive for an hour with the temp gauge pegged (then he made him leave his dead engine in my garage! oh wait, I mean two dead engines!)

One of those engines isn't dead!! Actually going to try and get by there tomorrow and start pulling the heads off. Did you have to remove the cams on those RX heads to get them off? Want to get them sent out to Delta Cam for some loving. The RX is going down in April!!

I think I can handle all the STI drive and tunes for Prestige for a while, at least up until we are selling so many parts that they have to hire help for me.

Flat4inRC,

Wasn't me I don't think, I'm afraid to take my hand off the wheel.

Mine has roof rack rails removed (say that three times),
clear headlights, clear corners, and, as of last week, grey Rota Battles.
