I should actually be able to show up this week. Seems like I've had something to do the past several Saturdays.

I was doing my breaks, what did I learn you ask? That bleeding the brake lines isn't as easy as it sounds...
Gotta take it to the shop in a bit.

Hey Trea, I have a bleeder thingy that hooks to air compressor that works great. I was able to do mine by myself not too long ago. You're welcome to borrow it, or I'll help you out however you need.

That would be awesome however I really don't like the idea of driving my car to Arlington with the brakes barely working.

Understandable, I might be able to come to you tomorrow and I think I can twist Nate's arm into helping as well. What's your schedule like tomorrow?

So how big is the club here? Trying to make a few posts so I can make my "new owner post"

Been reading through some of the forum posts, looks like DFW has a pretty strong following?

It's a pretty solid presence and growing. This particular group has about 25 people of which 10-15 are pretty consistent.

Anyone want to try to roll out together to CARS AND COFFEE? It's fine if you can't make the roll out at 6:00am SHARP. I'll be bringing all but one scoob. :-(. I must leave by 6:00 to get an OK spot so let me know and maybe I can figure a way to meet. Or just come over =p

Yessir, the pedal was described as "very stiff". "Very stiff" always gets her done! (Did he just revert to some teenage level penis humor??)
Yes, yes I did!
Congrats on getting the Camry sold, only took you "three months"! =p

I need to think some more about waking up that early, it sounds like a cool deal. Nothing about leaving at 6AM is cool though.

Yep they are working perfectly, and holy hell those hawk pads are effing amazing. It's a total night and day difference. If I need to stop its bit "well I guess I'll stop just before I hit whatever it is we need to avoid" it's a little more like "here's some whiplash, you asked for it when you put excessive pressure on that pedal" they are a little squeaky right before you stop completely, but I don't care. :race car

I will be there, turn out is usually pretty good. Most people show up closer to 9:30p than 9p though so don't leave at 9:10p thinking no one will show
