I always get asked to do burn outs!

I also get told "You need a bigger turbo man" - This comes from a guy that knows nothing on turbos lol

Went to the bank and as I walk inside, the teller says, "nice mustang, is it a GT?" (at which point I pause, confused)
- "Actually, it's a Subaru, but thank you."
Teller: "Oh really? It looks like a mustang."

By the guy at the gas station riding and R6 with a tire leaking air (aparently he has to refill it every 50 miles).....

Guy: You should have gotten and STi, it's stupid not to get one.

Me: I have tons of fun on this one.

Guy: Yea the WRX is freaking slow as balls!

Then as he is putting air on his rear tire a plug from a previous fix start leaking an it goes flat.

Me: You should get a new tire, that R6 is going to be really slow when you are dead!

My hatchback with roofracks gets more attention than when I had a Z.

Most (key word) use them to go fast in a straight line only. I passed a 26ish old in the mountain roads with my R6.. Like embarrassing passed him and he was flogging the bike in straights.

Also most that ride the liter bikes around here, don't wear any gear when they ride... I'm almost always fully suited up. Just had a 18 year old with a gixxer die yesterday

Datsun has been "under Nissan" since 1933. Nissan sold their cars as Datsuns for quite some time (they only sold trucks as Nissan), but eventually they switched the cars over to Nissan in Japan. They switched North America to Nissan a while later, in the early/mid '80s.

There are rumours that Nissan is going to revive the Datsun name as a cheap-car brand for markets like South America. (Maybe they've done this already, I haven't really been paying attention).

My dad, who owned Datsun 510s in the 70s, still calls Nissan vehicles Datsuns to this day, I think mostly just to annoy people. ("Man, that new Datsun GT-R is really awesome!") It's fairly likely that this police officer was doing the same thing out of habit.

No harm done, daddio other than getting 6 mpg cruising because someone didn't tighten the clamp on the hose.
Me an my friends fiancée went to qt a few nights ago(cause qt has everything) when I pulled out I did a little pull in 2nd gear(stock 03wrx with K&N short ram intake) absolutely pointless power wise but sounds yummy. When I shifted to third she stared freaking out like it was about to explode. "omg wtf was that hissing noise?" and looking around. I just giggled patted her on the head and said "it'll be ok".

A Datsun 280zx would be fun.

When I had a 350z all the old people called it a Datsun, I could never tell if they were trolling. One was a 240z fan so I know he wasn't.

Having my A/C being worked on (regassed) the other day. Assistant-worker-type-chap comes up (yes, this is more or less how he spoke):

Chap: Eh. Yo, this thing fast?
Me: Nawwww, why would you think that?
Chap: <peers into open driver's side window> It has gears!
(At this point I assume he means its manual)
Me: Does that mean it's fast?
Chap: yeah man! Once it has gears it hadda be fast! Does you launch it?
Me: NO.

<five mins later, the chap returns>

Chap: So does you burn out and stuff?
Me:

At work one day we notice a set of fresh set of burnout marks going half the length of our parking lot. My boss comes outside to see the same thing and asked me "Was that you?"

Me: I couldn't do that if I tried!
