Default how much would up-pipe help on my setup?

I have a 03 wrx with the following mods that put down 240/240 on a dynojet this march:
1. silencer delete
2. KN drop in
3. helix downpipe
4. borla catback
5. Perrin IC hose kit
6. cobb AP stage 2 93 octane

i'm getting ready for a 05 sti uppipe install and reflash to version 1.30 (people claim a more solid feel and slighty faster).

how much difference would you think, in hp/tq, the uppipe can add?

thx a bunch

Since you are removing the pre turbo cat I would guess 10-15 hp.

You will spool alot faster since the uppipe is a bottle neck on a stock car, let alone a modded car.

^^^ That sounds about right ... As far as spool up goes though, I saw about a 200-300 rpm quicker spool to full boost ... It's only a few hundred rpm's, but you do really feel the difference ... It's simply just more responsive, and well worth it ... Also, cat's comming apart are always debated, but why take the chance ...

Yes, ~10 whp, but a lot more power under the curve which is the most important thing of all.

You won't see 10whp peak gain. But you'll see 10whp gain down lower in the 3000-4500 range. So your official hp number won't change.

^^^ Is that actually the case? ... I know that the power will come on quicker due to having less/no restriction because there's no cat anymore, and that makes perfect sense ... But no gain in the overall hp numbers doesn't make sense ... You should see something, it may only be 5-10hp, but you're going to see something, it shouldn't just simply move your plot to the left with no hp gain ... I've been wrong before, but removing cats typically equals a hp gain ...

It's not moving the plot left like you say. It's really widening the plot with most of it on the left. The peak tq and hp will still be in approximately the same places, but you will have more area under the curve.

You will absolutely gain some top end, but not a lot. The factory uppipe cat is a high flow cat.

the 10hp is pretty much dead on. Its typically 8-12whp. But the WHP isnt the great part of the up pipe. Its the spool and torque gains. You are looking at 15-18wtq easily, and spool 200-300rpm sooner. Not to mention much better on/off/on throttle boost response.
