It would really be nice to see how long the motor can take that power..Every one I talk to about them says our blocks are only good for about 300-350whp an within a couple of months of good driving something goes. I'm afraid of going beyond 300whp in fear of spinning a bearing or throwing a rod...Please keep us posted.

congrats. amazing numbers, regardless of mileage.

I had 407whp, with a 30R on a stock 205 but that was only 24psi. I know someone else claimed to have made 433whp but they never produced a chart.

I went 11.8 on my setup the one time it went to the track, then we moved on to bigger and better things.

Congrats guys those are huge numbers. I know someone is going to ask so I might as well be the one, how do those dynopack numbers usally compare to the local dynojets, I know the one at SOG reads about 10% higher than the dynojet at Batlground.

FWIW: I put down 314/314 on another local shops DynoJet roller dyno, then with the exact same tune put down 316/316 on this very same DynaPack hub dyno within a few weeks apart... Seems pretty consistent to me...

i assume that "pump" is 93pon?

quite impressive for "low" octane. slap a good ADI setup on it and have a 400whp pump gas beast.

generally speaking, capless wrx blue topfeeds flow ~800cc/min.

you can also cut the caps off of pinks, but you get the same flow.

5 gallon pail of C16 = 60 bucks. ($12/gallon)
5 gallon pail of Import= 116 bucks. ($23/gallon!!)

From VP's site about Import:
"Makes 5% more power than C16"

This assumes that the turbo/combo can MAKE more power. Remember, power comes from the amount of air you can push in, not fuel.

That said, 5% off of 477 = 454. So we are talking 23 hp, maybe. I bet the same boost could have been run on C16.

I'll stick to C16.

I would tend to agree as I didn't run this car very lean. We are talking 12.0 and richer afr and very conservative ignition timing numbers. The main kicker is we ran a lot of boost, the last dyno pull I watched the logger hit 35 psi then settle to about 32 psi. We have run that same amount of boost pressure on c16 without a knock event in sight. We may have been able to seek some more power with a few tweaks but we were already on the cusp of the stock clutch ability to hold the torque.

sure... unless your fuel has oxygen in it.

Dynapacks have the ability to calculate crank hp or flywheel hp if your enter a value in the TCF (Torque Correction Factor) field which will show over 1.00. If this value is set to the number 1.00 it is showing true wheel hp or hub hp. We never use this setting as it is shady practice.

Just because it does...

Seriously, after taking the wheels off, how could you call it whp?

BUT, it is. And we do.
