Default Mysterious hose?

After looking at my engine, i found this hose loose. The engine is an 07wrx. Can you help me locate where it goes? I looks at the surrounding areas and cant find a disconnected fitting. This was after I did my inlet install. Thanks

If I'm correct, that hose should connect to a plastic vacuum fitting that comes off another hose or two that is tucked down below the jumble of hoses you can see in the picture, and slightly behind the alternator.

So down and behind.

Take a look with a flashlight. You'll see it.

I think that it ties into a vacuum control valve so you won't hear a vacuum leak with the engine running at idle.

d0000000000d....that is part of the evap emissions system and if ya **** that up you will have the CEL from hell

it looks like you are missing the little piece that connects the 2 hoses that are shown and you DO have a VAC leak from the one that goes to the manifold
