What's "low"? I had these sitting at 37PSI cold. It's back in the 50s and higher this week so we'll see if I can get them to slip after some warm up.

Yaaay another thread to lurk!

Hot damn that thing looks great after the detail. Makes me sad how how filty my poor car is.

I could have SWORE that someone said the TRD duckbill did not cover the Limited wing holes! Now you've got my wheels turning (the ones in my head).

Nice tire choice, btw. I'm waiting on my first paycheck for the exact same ones.

Maybe you were confusing "duckbill" from TRD with the Five:Axis one? I like how the F:A one looks, but, yeah, new trunk needed for that.

OE has me convinced to go with MPSS tires for my next wheels. C.R.E.A.M..

I confuse nothing! Ok, maybe that was it.

Whatever, smartypants. Either way, still gotta paint it. Boooo! Good thing I still have some WRB left over. Just need my new job to FREAKIN PAY ME ALREADY...

In this case, low is where it's low enough to allow the tire to roll over enough to put the tire dressing between the road and the rubber. It depends on the tire, the camber and the driving style.

What's a job without pay? Pro bono? Just free labor? Oh yeah, that's right: SLAVERY.

How much WRB you got left?

I'm just happy OE kept his chrome fender trim.

My car's SUPER filthy after the roadtrip to Atlantic City. I can confirm the TRD duckbill covers the Limited holes. CARSMO spoiler also covers the holes. Anything else I can't speak to.

The tires grip for days...not as quiet as I had hoped, but I think that has more to do with the sound-deadening than anything else. Definitely quieter than my BFGs though.

Really contemplating getting rid of it actually. Looked nice, but I think it kinda clashes with the gold wheels. Without the chrome though, that whole area looks plain.

In any case, it's fairly well behaved in the warm weather. Much harder to break traction unless I'm trying really hard to be sloppy.

BAM.

$400, though. They're insane.

Yeah, if I had gold wheels I would've already gotten rid of it. For me, I want gold wheels, but I'd have to remove all the chrome first. Not too crazy to do, but I'm not ready for that commitment yet.

Haha nah, just started a new job and they pay twice per month. So my first check will be on the 20th. *taps foot*

I bought a quart or so of WRB from NAPA and had one or two spray cans made from it. Still have a good amount left. I tried mixing and spraying with a gun but found that I have no idea what I'm doing and went back to the aerosol can to finish.

Yeah I've seen that CARSMO one but I don't like the bulkiness of that one. The TRD looks really slick.

This is why I haven't removed mine. I hate chrome, but it gives it just enough flair that I need it. Been thinking of laying a lightly tinted vinyl over it to make it look like black chrome. I'll have to look at it once I get my white wheels on to see which direction I want to go with it. That TRD carbon wing/canard thingy is kind of interesting. I'll need to see it from more angles before I'm sold, though.

Prova WRB side wings for $400.... so all they change up is that blingy satin fender vent from the stock black plastic? Why is that $400? Get outta my thread Mr. Matik!

I agree the TRD carbon fender wing is interesting...not sure I want anything that plainly says TRD on the outside. Inside is okay...been considering that TRD intake, but I'd prefer a dry filter over an oiled cotton filter.

You'll NEVER rid of me...

Is that TRD canard thing the one that looks like a shark fin antennae for the fenders?

AP Racing brakes are here. Konis are here. RCE yellows been had. And a local is letting me borrow his stock suspension to build the Konis off the car.

The calipers are a good bit lighter and shorter than my OEM Brembos that I've got in the garage.

Both local Advance Auto Parts stores don't have Mac strut spring compressors in stock. Making the drive to Harbor Freight in rush hour traffic after work...

I've owned a set of Craftsmans for probably 8 years now. Well worth the investment.

Realized there's a SEARS on the way home. Ordered online, picking up after work. Not happy that I'm spending $50, but at least I know these won't break. I can't imagine when I'll need them again unless I fudge the install and it clunks.

EDIT: Stock struts successfully disassembled. Built a front Koni, but I think I'm missing new top nuts. Stock ones DO fit. Halting until I speak with TiC. Also, RCE Yellow bump stops look like they'll need to modified to fit over the rear Koni strut shaft.

I am trying to remember if most shocks come with new top nuts. I would just put the OEMs on and move forward.

That's what I did, but it appears that I'm missing a baggy. The nyloc nuts I have are for the front; I'm missing the bag that contains the top nuts and white discs (I have no idea what they're for) for the rear struts based on my conversation with TiC.

Confusion on part because they were put in my rear box (fronts were pre-installed, so no box) and there were no other nuts in the rear box. Stock rear nuts do NOT fit and fronts DO, so I assumed those were my rear top nuts when they actually aren't. NBD really.
