Default Anyone running windows xp 64bit?

I'm thinking about giving it a try since I am able to.

What are your thoughts on it?

That'd be great if every Otter chimed in saying that they weren't using it.

Nah, I did the math, it didn't work out. Turns out 32bits + 32bits != 64 bits.

I installed the XP64 beta release on a friends machine as a little test, but lack of 64 bit drivers at the time made it a bit of a PITA.

Once it was running I couldn't notice much of an initial difference, so I would wait till XP64 reaches a final state, and people start developing all the appropriate 64 bit drivers and apps to go with it. Then it'll be toasty.

I have the CD, and was ready to install it, until I saw that it's a time-limited release. I didn't want to have to deal with reinstalling my normal version of XP once the license ran out on 64 Beta.

If there's a way around the expiration, I may consider it...then again, it's still beta.

Theres not enough drivers and apps out to make the 64 bit worth it just yet. Give it another year or so for everything to solidify a little more.

I got it running. Big Thumbsup here. I got drivers for my Radeon (yes NVidia drivers are out too) and I also have my Nforce 3 drivers for it. Everything so far as rock solid despite being betas. Runs damn quick too. Now to get 64 bit video encoders. They are on their way. One place already has them out..

Didn't know Nforce drivers were out. I had trouble with drivers for the Asus Socket 754 mobo.
