Default Digi-Q purchase update, please be sure to check!!!

OK folks, here's the list I have comprised from the posts and messages I have received. PLEASE CHECK IT OVER CAREFULLY. When you finish correcting this list, that will be it. You will be responsible for the purchase I make. There are some modification where the exact thing you want does not exist as a DigiQ. Some of the stuff I'm not sure my source has/is aware of. But I'll see what I can do. HongKongBeef, you're the one with the big change. I do not think your model comes with a controller, so you might have to purchase the "DigiPROPO" controller. It seems to retail for about $25, my source might have them cheaper.

Once I get a response from you I will confirm the price and total cost with my source. Then I will shell out the $700+ to make the purchase.

Oh, and by the way, I finally found Takara's web site!!! (The maker of Digi-Q). Here's the [definitive list] !

blue ej20 (1) Blue WRX

Kostamojen (1) Blue WRX (You wanted RC but there's no Digi-Q actual WRC)

justinm (2) Blue WRX + Black WRX

HongKongBeef (1) Yellow Penzoil Skyline GTR (you'll need to buy a controller,
this model is just the vehicle)

ancyC (0) ???

SeaDragonRex (1) Blue WRX

mchoo (1) Lancer Evo VII (Dunno if they have an actual WRC or not)

KillerTHC (1) Blue Skyline

secretaznboy (1) Black WRX

bobski (1) Blue WRX

joefong (1) Blue WRX

TurboWRXImpreza (1) Blue WRX

SLOMatt (1) Black WRX

javabean2 (1) Blue WRX

Thanks Jason. I'll hook up with you when I get back in town. My G-ma had a major stroke and it doesn't look good. Anyway, let me know how much and I'll give you the cash when I get back from LA.

Is anybody getting the track? How much is it? If it's $10 or less, get one for me.

Thanks for doing this. I know it takes a lot of time and effort. I'll bring you a beer at the next bbq.

getting the track? screw that, i'm gonna *make* one we should standardize on some sort of modular "track units" - like, 2'x2' squares of 1/2" plywood or something, with inputs and outputs at standardized positions. everybody could make up a bunch of uniquely themed and track units, and link them together in different ways to create interesting terrain... think of the way roads are built in the SimCity and the other Sim games, ya know?

man, feels kinda dirty to geek out on this stuff, hehe. like, i'm afraid i'll inexplicably start amassing pokemon merchandise, too.

To mchoo: it looks like the last car+controller combo on the list is a special "Evo VII Tommi WRC" edition (it's got a special red controller)....dunno about availability but it does exist.

As for me, the order is correct

Jason, thanks again for putting this together! I'm also willing to front the cash via paypal if it'll help you out, otherwise I'll have cash on pickup.

Also, can you get prices for the cars alone? I've heard it's good to have 2 cars per controller since you get 15 minutes run time per 10 minute charge - makes it so you can run one while the other charges

I am getting prices on the "solo" cars (see the Takara website). "DQS" is the car + controller "starter kits". "DQ" is the solo car. I am waiting on a response from my supplier about various prices and accessibility.

you can take my name off the list... I don't really have a place to play with one at home, and I don't really think my boss would approve of me playing with one at work.

HKB,

the solo car I think is about $25 and the controller is about $25. So you pay like $10 for not getting a "starter kit". But don't quote me on this. These are prices I've seen around the web, etc. I don't have prices back from my source yet on these individual items specifically. I'll let ya know.

Sounds good.

Does anybody have more information on the "super" controller. It has the ability program the car for different braking, steering, and accelleration settings. Supposedly it can make the car 30% faster. I found one guy that claims you can also program the car using a PalmPilot, but I haven't found the software yet.
