Autometer elec. oil pressure sending unit tap location instructions
i am posting this again because it seems to be missing and cant find it with a search.
these are the instructions i used to tap for my oil pressure sending unit for my Autometer gauge. you need to remove/unbolt the altenator to get at the location, i believe that North Ursalia has the altenator removal insturctions on his website. justin

Justin when this is done should the oil be drained out of the car (like during a oil change)? Or is all the oil back in the pan? I guess it would be in the pan. Is the 1/8 BSP a 1/8 Britsh Pipe thread? If you don't know I can call andy and bother him. Was this difficult to do, ie hard to get at, redicously tight nuts and such? I don't aurprises when the car is in peices.
What does your gauge normally read for oil pressure? thanks Bob |
