No, because it would require way too much work. New headers, finding a location for the driver's side turbo since the steering stuff is in the way, among a lot of other things.

Syms makes a twin turbo header. You could adapt it to the Impreza for twin turbos.
I hope you have a lot of $$ though. While you're at it..may as well buy the widebody fenders too Mark Subaru-less |

Well the key to a turbo is picking the right one for the application... I'm sure if you're talking twin-turbo you'll want T28's or maybe even slightly less. T03/04 would be very much overkill and would probably result in heavy turbo lag and you not even hitting max boost before redline.

Try posting this in the U.K BBS where they have the B4 RSK and the GTB both have a 2.0 litre twin turbo 276 HP engine under the bonnet.

We don't officially get RSK or GTB in the UK,
I have a GTB and had to personally import it from Japan Paul www.nebbs.com |

I think a simgle turbo would be better.
If you have 2, each will be only getting 1/2 the volume of exhaust to spin them. You'll get low boost. Yeah i know- you only need 1/2 the boost for 1/2 the cylinders blah blah blah. But you have to factor in the loss of energy. Turbos are efficient, but 2 of them is doubling the efficientlessness (or some other smart sounding word). |

With a sequential twin turbo setup, you don't always have the exhaust flowing through both turbos, on the legacy a valve closes off the second turbo until over 4500rpm, this means that a small turbo thatcan build boost from under 2000rpm gets all the exhaust flow, and that a larger turbo for high flow and revs can be brought in later. If you use a single turbo that produces lots of boost at 7000rpm you won't get much boost below 4000rpm Paul |

My RX7 originally had a sequential twin turbo (almost inline).. it was fairly compact and allowed the first "big" turbo to come in at around 3000 rpm and the second closer to 5200 (if I remember correctlt as it wasnt on there very long before I switched over to the single).. The sequential design was very nice as it delivered smooth power across the band and pulled srong all the way to red.. There was not quite as much lag on the stock unit as there was on the bigger single unit I replaced it with.. for all around driveability the hitachi sequential twin was a great piece.. you might be able to dig one up somewhere, but the fuel and ecu mapping would be a pain.
