What's the ID of the up-pipe in V2?

Thanks!

We might be able to figure soemthing out. It would have to wait until we manufactured the next batch so we could make one extra primary for you.

That hasn't changed from V1. 1.75" same ID as the turbo inlet.

Yes, you'd need to pay for the primary, cutting out the old one, and welding in the new one.

You're tune is just around the corner!

I don't mind swapping the primary, and I'll charge time & materials, no more.

This was known from the first pics of the prototype long long ago. We sometimes make sacrifices for power... Some even the the point of reliability. Your statement is like saying "hey I paid all this money for this loud exhaust and now I get tickets, what's the deal!"

which is very nice that the service is offered. I was just laughing about the cost of material and labor to have the primary done as I'd assume that it makes up the majority cost of the manifold.

I haven't talked to the welders, but if I were to ballpark cutting out and replacing 1 primary tube it would be less than $200 to cover time and materials.

We've actually back burnered the EWG version for now. We're not a retailer and there are so many variables with the different WG models, sizes, etc, plus the different DPs you have to play well with too.

So far we've been supplying customers that want an external WG with an extra section of 321 stainless tube and the 321 weld procedures to have thier local shop install the WG of thier choice. The cost to have them do it vs. us is probably a wash.

I've been asked a few times lately so I'll throw this out there. Coating or wrap does NOT void warranty.

I'd kill for a coated one of these. Why even go rotated when this is out there.

You can still go rotated if you wanted, just use an OEM to rotated adapter. There are a few companies that make them

you go rotated for the turbo choices and location....not for header choice.

Plenty of stock location turbos available now. I see rotated as overly expensive for little gain. That's for a different thread though Ron.

there is only 1 reason to stay stock location....visual smog inspection.

cost variation is minimal

Perhaps if you go rotated initially, but ultimately the cost comes from needing completely new hardware as the hardware you invested into stock location essentially becomes useless.

Back on topic. Nice header. I want it. Thanks for chatting Ron.

There are certainly different turbo choices going rotated. No one will argue that. My point was with an adapter you're no longer confined to the few up-pipe or kit choices.

I wish I had the time to search for you, but here's a pic to prove the mythical part exists. Last time I looked (about a year ago) there were 3 sources for them, one I do remember was TurboXS.

If I can, I'll try and find the other 2 sources tonight.
