Megan coilovers have been getting a lot of praises lately. It always depends on the amount of money you have bro.

Helix, tein, cusco, hks, zeal, megan, godspeed are to name a few.

I might as well add a question I had about the megan coildovers here, how do they ride? for some reason I make the assumption that they may be overly stiff.

I have TEIN Flex's
& I like them alot...even with driving on NJ and NYC roads...

Since i installed them i havent adjusted the right height, set everything to TEIN's specs b4 i put them on the car...

If i remember i have the fronts at about 5 clicks from full soft and the rears 7 or 8 clicks from soft.
Dont get any complains about the ride quality from the gf, or even my uncle who has a messed up back!..
I think i paid like 1500 or 1600 from ebay vendor( good price for them!)...new in box shipped direct from TEINs warehouse in CA!

for ref...
Before:

installed:

to these specs...

after:

and after some new wheels/tire

I have the Tein basic coilovers and they have impressed the hell out of me and every other subie owner that has been for a ride in my car. Not only are they comfy on the street but just right for very spirited driving (AKA Nautilus run) Ive had them for a year and 35k miles. If your thinking of buying them dont hold back.

Tein is better than Magan racing sorry the R&D is much better my friend had megan racing coilover and they were total junk.

you are welcome do u want to see some pics i have some if you want me to post em for you.

If you have/do swaybars they would indeed be fine for occasional autoX but if your car is strictly for autoX you need a coilover like the tein monoflex for adjustability purposes

here ill post em up lol why ask im sure u want to see em lol

You might also want to look into the BC racing coilovers. A little less than the basics, and I know many sti/wrx owners who have and love them.
