And then I heard Kris and Leo's discussion about Leo's bike being a single speed and I felt worse . I only caught up to my friend Hal once and I thought he was being nice to wait for me. Anyone with a mountain bike want to come ride at my (slow) pace?
I'd be up for a MTB ride... mostly been doing city riding, but I could throw my dirt tahrs on. Not this weekend though. Too much chit going on. Tour de Troit on Saturday, DIY Street Fair on Sunday... drunkeness the rest of the time...

[insert plug here] There's the DIY Street Fair going on in Ferndale this weekend. Lots of bands, food, a beer tent with micro-brews and arts and crafts shopping. [end plug]

I'm volunteering on Sunday so you may see me around if you stop by. It's going to be behind the WAB.

I'm game in Oct. around Island Lake Park...make a shooting/biking weekend out of it?

Also Britt may be asking if you want to join the new paintball team her and Vlad are doing. "Americans vs. the Russians" or as I call it the "US vs. Commies".

ALSO: Are you and the lady down Oct. 3rd for some big tailgating. MSU vs. UofM @ MSU.

Yes to the shooting/biking weekend, but we'd better get to it before it gets a bit too cold. I'll probably just be the two of us unless mykr gets a bike and McMoto puts his dirt tire on.

Yes to paintball!!!! I'm sure I can find a couple others for Team America. If someone needs it I have two markers, but only one hopper .

Can't tailgate that weekend...sister's wedding is that afternoon/evening.

I climbed on to my old school, elevated chain-stay, black and pink crackle finish Nishiki recently to start dragging Liam around in his new bike trailer. Woo Hoo (said in an out-of-breath kinda way). He hates the helmet but seems to like the ride...err, tow.

Now to start trailering him to day care and back

DIY stands for what Mike? Maybe we'll come by. We're local I'm fabbing up the other Recaro seat mount Saturday morning and we've got family plans for Saturday afternoon in Hamburg Twp.

Millennium Auto in Romeo might have one, but I'm not sure they sell sensors and stuff separate from complete engines. You could try Speed Industry in Troy. They might have some left-over bits from an engine rebuild or swap. Otherwise I'd call a dealership and have them get you one by Monday morning.

Helllllllllllllllllllllllllllllooooooooooooooooooo ooooooooo...

My office only has 11 employees. 9 of them are out of the office today. The other one here is the receptionist. I don't have much to do today, but I have to be here at 5pm when a test finishes. I'm not excited about it.

Amen to that. What a long week - more stress with the house and we will have to wait another weekend to find out when we close, but it looks to be late next week. Better late than never, right?

Has anyone picked up Dirt 2 yet?

at least you won't have to pay your first mortgage payment until Nov.

yes, i have Dirt2. my fanboi roommate wears his Dirt2 ProSpec's when playing...

here's my two bit review.

Pros - better car physics. nice damage modelling. rewind feature is nice (didn't care for it at first)
Cons - too X Games flashy IMO. not enough rally. rally stages aren't long enough. some of the game modes are stupid.

6.5/10

So...

Anywho, I agree with Myk 'bout the physics and such as it's a big improvement. The car selection is smaller but you have different packages for the cars for Rally, Rally Cross ect.. It could use less X Games appeal and more Rally, but overall it's still fun.

Oh and when I buy a car in the game, I get to have/use it immediately.
