only making 7psi??
I just bought an 03 wrx and it came with a stock boost gauge. It shows the turbo only making about 7psi, just under the .5 on the gauge. What can I do to be sure I run at full boost? What could be making it run like this? it has 117xxx miles.

That's waste gate pressure. You've got a boost control issue.
I believe there should be a pill inside one of the vacuum lines near the turbo. Check and make sure that's there. Maybe someone else can confirm. |

Are you doing your WOT pulls in 3rd/4th gear? A lot of times the lower gears won't spool to full boost. If you ARE in fact doing pulls in 3rd/4th then yeah you've probably got a boost issue. Possible leak

Boost issue. Running wastegate pressure.
The stock gauge reads in Mpa as a reference. Check for leaks. |

FYI you won't really hear a leak if there is one. Try replacing the hoses and see what that does. Most of the time the crack is beyond tiny enough to see.
