I'd take the WRX as it is much less inexpensive. I would also rather have it because it is cheaper to insure. I wouldn't feel as bad crashing it as I would a Porsche. You wouldn't get as much crap from people about being rich if you got the WRX instead of the Porsche.

So if somebody came up to you and offered you either the keys to a WRX(or 22B for that matter) or a 911 TT you're saying you'd take the WRX. Now I guess I can refrain from flaming you, but I think there's something seriously wrong with that decision.

i'd definately have to take the 911TT, correct me if i'm wrong but doesn't that car have the C4 AWD drivetrain couple with 2 turbos? Oh yeah not to mention its an "untuned" model whereas the 22b is almost at it's limit(again im probably wrong).

Get real!
I think any of you would take a 911 turbo over a WRX "even a sti model" if they were sitting in front of you.
Dane
If, you pic the 911 and drive it and dont like it for some crazy reason, sell it and by a WRX sti and whatever else you want.

I would take the 911 turbo, sell it, use the money to buy a WRX and import an EVO VI for my weekend warrior.

Thumbs up

What Kostmojen said!

Take the 911, buy a 22B..pay-off your mortgage (if you have one or put a big down paymebnt on a house/condo/whatever).

You'd have a kicka$$ ride and a place mostly paid for. Afterall, the 911 is nice, but what good does a two seat rolling house do you for? Correction...an extremely FAST rolling house...

You guys are bending the rules. We're talking about a car that for whatever reason you can not sell, you're stuck with it for the rest of your life. That being said, you'd be some kind of crack head to pick the subaru.

I can't belive this. I started this post as a joke...I didn't think you guys were actually gonna pick the WRX. BTW 0-60=3.9 1/4=11.9. Ain't no stock Subaru beatin' that. GET A LIFE PEOPLE.

Well if this person who is offering the keys dresses up in red and black, has a tail, carries a big fork and goes by the name of Satan, I'd burn rubber and speed outta there!

Being a former '86 Carrera owner (Hit by drunk driver ), and a current Subaru & Volkswagen owner - I would have to say I'd go for the more expensive, better made, and best of all German car (duh).

I love my Impreza, it's truly an awesome machine, but it's no 996 Turbo. It's no 993 Turbo for that matter.

The only exception is maybe the 22b, strictly for it's rarity. It certainly wouldn't be because I wanted to go spank 911 Turbos though, because that's not going to happen.

Later all, and keep you Subies slideways!

{rant}you guys wanna know what i get sick of? people that worry about what everyone else does on this board. if someone posts a topic that you dont wanna read.. you know what you do?? YA DONT READ IT. thats right! its that easy! if someone wants post "wrx v. jetcar" dont bitch 'n moan about it. just let the post go away. this board would be very boring if every post was "oh ****, my CE light keeps coming on" or "difference between titanium and iridium connecting rods?". im not saying i dont enjoy those posts, cause i like reading as much as i can so i can be informed. but hey! i like to laugh too! so you guys need to just lighten up a bit. {/rant}

dude.. your obviously a tuna lover..

all i'm sayin is if you want to compare chicken to tuna.. do a little reading first.. people can probably answer their own questions..

18 yo kids who cant afford either car asking me which i'd drive a porshe or s subaru does NOT make the board interesting..

and YES i'm making assumptions and being general.. its the flavor ofthe day.. apart form chicken that is..

Bring on the chicken.. i'm hungry !!
