"Euro 17" weels at cost of 750$CA.
and Pirelli rubber at 350$ca a piece"

Ouch! That's expensive! (Providing that it's 750 CAD apiece for the wheels.)

Ya, that front bumper didn't meat the crash test requirements (i think) so that may just be a show car. There is a pic from Detroit of the skeleton car with just a motor, frame but had those wheels.

[edit]
Huh, maybe we will be able to get those wheels then?[/edit]

That wagon body kit looks SO good. And we're not getting that here in the states, right? Damn that sucks.

IMHO that wagon kit draws undue attention to itself, kinda tacky, hope there are other choices. Check the silver wagon in the Sti brochure, it looks real clean, 17's and somewhat lower - it starts to look good!
(I have a silver wagon on order as well)

If you look closely, the wagon bumper kit is just an add-on lip and rear valence. The stock bumper is retained, so it seems like it should be DOT legal. Maybe it hangs too low to meet SOA's regulations on ground clearance, kind of like the RE-92's being used because of SOA's committment to "any roads, any conditions." Sport tires + snow = bad. On the same note, excessively low front lip + curbing = breakage.

Just my hypothesis.

In a soo nice Black!

Question

About the wagon body kit, will this be a available as an option in Canada?

A more general question would be: Does anyone have any info on options available in Canada?

I think those rims are the ones from one of the non state side models. I think they are just bigger versions of ours and gold.

dude the gold ones on the rally car are a universal rim that was brought in from japan. Go to any speedshop out there and stuff like this awaits you. Great looks at a small price. theweight is probably a little on the high side..but who cares. the look like an 18X 7.75 (may even be a 17" hard to tell..but they are using pirelli tyrres the ones used on tarmac sessions by the WRC team

lol..don't ask how i know.

Rims are Japanese universal aftermarket. They are 18x7's. They were originally silver, and then painted for the show. I'm sure places like Tire Rack has those. WRC teams use mostly 18" for tarmac events.

Man, I feel violated, how bout a photo credit for good ole james here?

Anyways, the wheels are on the option list, but they are $707 CDN, and $383 for the P Zeros, each!

The wagon kit is $1800 CDN, and the gauge pack was like $500-600 if I recall.

Jaimak - Thank you for the price of the body kit! Was it 'confirmed' that it would street legal in Canada - I know if it's for sale then...

Gauge pak: You are talking about the same that is available in the US?

James,

I didn't know it was you who took the pictures, but credited the toronto-subaru-club as you can see in my first post.

Nice shots, man. Can hardly wait to go.

Ah, don't worry Rob, that comment was dripping with sarcasm

Pollux, I assume it will be street legal, I don't see why not. Why else would they advertise the price if you couldn't buy it.

Either way, I'm sure you'd be able to find that kit aftermarket in a worse case scenario.

You bastard!!! It's a good thing I live in Detroit.

I guess I'll have to do a roadtrip to pick up some REAL handsome wheels in Toronto. I wonder if I can tell the border cops that they are my "spare wheels" so as not to pay the tariff... hehehe.
