Toronto Autoshow - I love this car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Were is Toronto board???
I was looking around i-club and cant find it... Plese let me know/post a link. I went to the autoshow last night. The car IS fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fenders and front lights, I love it all!!! I love it... both sedan and wagon. In fact can't decide which one to order... Blue wagon or silver sedan? Silver sedan or blue wagon????? Help !!!!!!!!!!!!! I need help ( may be phcyciatric)..... Spent hours looking at both cars and there is something about each of them .... Oh, God , please help me to deside... I am about to use a coin.... Now real question canadian market seems to be getting Euro 17" weels at cost of 750$CA. and Pirrelli rubber at 350$ca a piece. Do you think this is a good deal. I spoke to rep from Subaru Canada and he mentiond that there will be an option to order a replica of BBS rims 17" but much cheaper ( not BBS made). Also he mentions that there will be a boost geage offerd exectly like the one from new-impreza.com pic from archive (it goes on the dash near the tach). I can't find the pick of armrest extention. there was no car at the show with it. My question is about the switches that would be coverd if I order it. Anyone has a pick or can describe how it fits the car...??? Thanks.

I saw the Toronto Autoshow pics from another websites. Both the Blue sedan and the silver wagon look amazing. I really don't know which to pick either. The wagon with the body kit looks mean!!
If it's not because I've driven wagons in the past five years, I'd choose the wagon no problem!! It's nice that the EURO/AUS 17" rims will be offered here, I like those, but the price is too high! What's the point? I'd rather get the P1 wheels at $315US each, that's still less than $500CA. |

I don't think there is a Toronto I-Club board, although the Toronto Subaru Club has a great BBS (which is currently down).
I was at the Toronto auto show yesterday and saw the WRX. No offense to anyone who likes it, but seeing the car in the flesh made me decide not to buy it. IMHO it's ugly and the much praised interior is pretty ordinary. The only thing that would make me buy this car are the letters S-T-i. Now the M3 on the other hand...words do not describe. |

YES!!! Sometimes living in Canada definitely rocks! We get the Euro 17's. This is awesome, though that rally blue one with the BBS's is practically the exact car I would buy.

Is that 750 CAD apiece, or for all 4?

Maximum,
That's interesting. I feel that the new M3 looks too much like a normal 3 series. It should have been more aggresive. Perhaps it was the colours I have seen it in. Don't know. |

The M3 isn't supposed to look all that different from a standard 3er. That's the beauty of it... it's a classy Q-ship that isn't covered with big wings, fender flares, & foglights. Those who know it will appreciate it, & those who don't won't notice a thing.

Well, the E30 was very aggressive and still looks amazing. I think the new one is even more subtle than the E36 one was.

WRXRob, I don't know what it was. The colour was nice, but the rims, the side flutes, the fender buldges, the hood buldge...it just all comes together in such a cool way. I rarely get really excited by the way a car looks (I'm more into performance) but that M3 really made an impression on me. Beautiful!

I wasn't a fan of that yellow convertible M3 at all. The WRX was definetly better in person. I just liked driving the 4x4's on the offroad track all day My fav car of the AutoShow? Hrm.... That Chevy Avalanche was a mean looking beast.

Not saying that I wouldn't own an E46 M3 or anything, of course I would, but I just like the way the fender flares are done on the Renault Clio V6/WRX/Porsche 944/E30 M3 better than the swollen wheel arch lips on the E46. Of course 333hp will sure change my mind in a hurry!
