Default How hard is it to change a clutch on a 1990 Legacy?

Does anyone know how difficult it is to change the clutch on a awd 5spd 1990 legacy?

i read a lot of FAQs online when i had to replace mine, and it actually looked like it wasn't too bad if you have the right equipment. but since i live in an apartment complex and don't have a tranny jack, i wasn't willing to do it myself. check around the boards though, there's some really creative solutions to getting at the damn thing!

hardest part will probably be getting the balljoints out, and splitting the trans from the engine once they're unbolted.

Oh and then trying to line it back up without a lift, trans jack, and screw jack is going to suck.

ive done 3 subaru clutches on my back, they dont get any easier lol. but, i'd rather do a subaru clutch than a dsm or maxima clutch any day.

its straight forward if you take your time and align everthing when removing/installing the trans.
