So i unplugged my negative battery cable, now my gas pedal is unresponsive?
I was doing some audio work, i went through the normal routine of unplugging and replugging the negative cable. Now i noticed my gas pedal is not as responsive and it takes more force to actually go faster? why is this and how can i fix it

Huh that sounds strange, sorry if this is a really dumb question for you but are you sure the floor mat/carpet isnt jammed in there?

Yea, doesn't the throttle plate need to "relearn" the proper position?

That's normal. After about half or more of a gas tank of driving, followed by a fillup at the gas station., i'll be back to normal

thanks. this calms me down alot, except it is a hazard though, since i was used to the responsiveness of the pedal it took about 1 sec longer for me to take off and took me into a situation that i was very close to the other car. I also back into my driveway up hill and make a turn to go into the side driveway backwards, i pressed on it too hard and nearly plowed my house. Geez it needs to work.

That happens while the ECU is relearning. Happened to me when I installed my supertones, went back to normal after a day
