100% stock vs. upgraded turbo dyno graphs
I would like to look at dyno graphs of stock subarus 2L, 2.5L whatever vs. thier upgraded turbo setup on the same graph so I can compare low end torque. So If you have a graph with a stock and modified turbo plotted together I would like to see it.

In support of desert pirate, i have never seen a graph of bone stock vs a turbo upgrade. Most often its stage II td04 vs upgrade to vf34/16g, etc. Mostly because not a lot of people post their bone stock dyno numbers. He could have specified which turbo he has and which engine he is running and that would certainly have been better. People are to quick to be cold and give an antagonistic response on this site.

You just posted a crawford performance dyno graph though, which are almost always way too high because they use a wacked out correction value.
This is a factory 2004 wrx with only an uppipe worth about 10hp and earlier spool. The only one I could find on the site close to stock. |

i knew someone would come up and say crawford reads higher, but really not about the number, it's more about the curve....even if it only make 300 at flywheel, it's still more power than 2.0 i believe

Verc, I deffinately have used the search and have been sifting through MANY charts!
theicewall, yes it is true not many stock vs. upgraded turbo charts are posted but I know some are out there and would like to see them if some one has them hiding. I think at this point it is irrelevent what I am running, I am trying to gather data to make a better informed decision about what I would like to run. Thank you for your kindness. Newsti, I think torque is more determined by airflow, say just for example turbo x makes 15psi(which equates to 300cfm) by 3000rpm and turbo y makes 12psi(which equates to 320cfm) by 3000rpm, well turbo y would make more torque. If I had the data from one dyno on what a wrx or sti puts down stock, and then data of wrxs or stis with an assortment of larger turbos, I could call the stock turbos X, larger turbos that while made maybe less boost but more torque Y, and then turbos so large X torque was not made untill after say 3000rpm Z. This is the relationship I am after, I also have posts in 2.0 and 2.5L power but have not gotten anywhere. I am interested in finding the lose of low end torque point for both 2l and 2.5l turbo wise. |

May or may not help, but here are two results with pretty much identical "Stage 2" mods and a Deadbolt P&P stock WRX turbo:

Thanks, I was able to find a TON of graphs on I-Speed and compare them, It was exactly what I was wanting, their comparison stuff was very usefull, many thanks to them I hope their data base keeps growing!
