Well the results on that Forester are awesome and that is my tuner so we have been tuned on the same dyno. I would really like this turbo if the numbers from the sti were similar. I am still waiting for englishguy to post his dyno......

That's my Foz and it's a blast now! I've done all the work myself, so I'm pretty stoked it didn't blow up!
Jon seemed somewhat surprised at how effective the Spearco TMIC was at keeping things cool. He said there were no heat problems.
I do try to stay out of that peak torque area to preserve the tranny and keep the tires engaged...Definitely still learning how to drive this.
Here's the Dyno:

A comparison against my previous setup:

Ok results

Mod List

Cobb intake, Perrin afta maf, GMS Inlet hose, blouch 2.5xtr, DW 850cc, Spearco TMIC, Grimmspeed Headers, up-pipe, ebcs, x-pipe, phenolic spacers, TXS 4' DP APS 3" catback.

Things to note... I'm getting some overboost in 6th, so I'll be going EWG soon. The TMIC was heatsoaked by the end and the ECU was pulling timing, so, I'll be going FMIC, even though I wanted to stay TMIC, but oh well lol.

dotted line is stock STi, if i build the engine and the valvetrain, this turbo will scream all the way up to 8000rpms, so my tuner tells me, and looking at the power line, it showed no sigh of flattening lol

Awesome, thanks!!! That thing must pull so hard all the way to redline. 300 wtq at 3.7k on a mustang dyno!!!!

I thought the new 10cm hotside didn't need a ewg.

well the wastegate has been a bit of a bitch to be honest. came from the factory set at 25psi, had to switch it out for an actuator from a dom 4.0 xtr, which was tested at 15psi. then, after pulling it off the dyno, there was a rattling coming from the hotside, which was the gate not sealing properly against the body, causing a rattling. after adjusting it again to make sure it sealed fine, we were good. boosting just fine until 6th, where i occaisionally get some overboost, not too often, but seeing as i'm a little anal about **** like that, an EWG will probably find its way onto the car soon lol

Thanks for the info regarding the wastegate issues. I have secretly been looking at this turbo and wondered how it could be controlled on an IWG setup. For your external setup, what WG are you planning on using?

We have sent over 10 test units out on the 2.5XT-R with no reported issues of boost creep running it internally gated. This is the first issue we have seen with the 2.5XT-R with creep issues. Looking at the dyno chart it looks like it boost has a nice taper, like a internally gated turbo should have. Were going to keep a eye out for more creep issues

Yep, I've been exchanging emails with blouch all day working on this, absolutely excellent customer service. all in all this turbo rocks, just gotta work out this small issue, but I'm not gonna complain one bit with peak power near redline LOL, and its still got more in it, so I'm gonna enjoy exploring. As for the boost creep, the team at blouch and I will work out what is going on.

Nice numbers! The dyno graph is a little hard to see where you hit full spool. I'm just curious at what rpm you hit full spool at on the street?

I can live with full spool @ 3.8k but you have a tmic so maybe with a fmic full spool for you will be around 4.1k but that should only be for 1 gear

Log
RPM, throttle position and manifold relative pressure.
2000 RPM - 6000+ RPM

Those should not disclose any proprietary tune information and I'm sure he's most interested in RPM vs. Manifold relative pressure. Yours is the first ever Blouch 10cm turbine housing chart I've ever seen with decent spool.

Yep, do one log like that in 2nd, one in 3rd and one in 4th (in 4th no need to rev it out, just 4500-5000 rpm is plenty fast enough, maybe even too fast).

So...I had issues with this, but here is what I was able to pull off.
No manifold relative pressure option.
I forgot throttle position.
Take a look, let me know what to do differently and I'll go do it again better!
Also, if you can recommend a better way to display the data let me know.
