Default About wheel center caps

Hello, if u can see the picture properly, u can see that my 15" wheels are missing the center caps, i want to buy them but don't have a proper part no. for it. I do have a part no. for it, but it is a center cap that does not fit properly, Teaguesauto said that because i am using non-oem lug nuts, thats why the cap does not fit properly, after closer inspection of the wheel, i can see that the lug nuts are in no way obstructing the center caps. I have also tried the local dealer and they found me the part which i previously mentioned and actually tried to fit it on without success. Maybe i am ignorant and actually it is the lug nuts that is obstructing the center caps. If so, can somebody point me in the right direction. The person who sold me the 15" wheels, is the same person that posted a thread a while ago about selling them, i think he has a few sets, be warned though, that they come without center caps. BTW, i am also looking for Subaru Legacy OEM lug nuts, used preferabbly and at lowest cost. If u have forsale, or know of anybody who wants to sell them, please let me know
THANKS ALL..

Default It's the nuts!!

Looks to me like Dale's correct. The OEM lug nuts are "acorn" type and don't have the wide shoulders of the ones pictured on your car. The smaller/lower acorn nuts probably allow thw center cap to seat further down and correctly on the wheel. A fresh (new) set of the OEM style couldn't set you back much$$ or tey a "recycler". I believe Subaru has been using the same nuts since the days of white spoke wheels.
