Whatever we pay today, it is a bargain, in comparison of what the "real" price should be, but soon enough the price WILL reflect the "real" cost. I predict 5 to 6 $ per gallon within a year or two and 9 to 10 $ per gallon within 10 years... JMO

We have been paying that in Canada for over 5 years now...if not a tad longer. Gas prices are what they are. You can piss and moan all you want but it won't change it. So either change your driving style, or buy a Prius and piss and moan about how it doesn't get the 50mpg it said it would.

Americans don't know anything about high gas prices, it's only 3 cents less per liter of 91 octane on the West Coast here.

I suspect you have higher gas taxes. Which means your price is artificially high, which helps keep demand low....and allows us to consume more at lower prices.

For this, we thank you.

I suspect your low gas prices are kept low artificially, by your government's foreign policies... And yet the average US citizen seems to think that your gas prices are way too high... I would say that's not going to last long (low gas prices) as the demand for oil rises in the world...
