It sucks if you have a JDM front end too. It is like instantly like 1500+ in losses.

Is this based on mechanical properties, or is it all the tune? Because if it is the tune, then most people could tune any one of the three to be like that.

Mechanical differences.

AVCS.

Turbo selection.

EJ207's loooove timing.

Higher revving vs ej205/257 etc

the only reason i said no 207 is because i want to build a NEW engine, new everything. i just want a peace of mind that i'll pretty much have a newly fresh long block.

i pretty much got quote for a stage 2 shortblock with manly h beams, je pistons, acl bearings.
then im gonna get new heads with with vales.

i just want this new motor to last me to atleast 200k miles.

well, my engine was about 20k us miles on it which is not that much when I got it. leak down test was perfect with less than 6% leak on all cylinders.

i understand you regarding new engine. however, you can buy a new 207 block and all…etc. still. The AVCS, higher revs and forged internals of a version 7 engine are worth the look.

with that said, i'm sure you'll make the right choice. These engines will definitely live to 200k easily with the correct care. Good luck my friend.

It's from the following website: http://www.abwmotorsport.co.uk

Only thing is, the version currently for sale on the site is not the one shown in the picture above. The one for sale is for the Hawkeye model, apparently, because of the space for the rear trunk badge. Personally I think the one posted by RJsmith looks great, but the one on the page.. a little much.
